Happy 4th of July!

Just a quick post to wish you all here in the US a happy 4th of July!! This rustic meets modern farmhouse dining nook from LOFT Home out of Austin screamed All-American to me! Love the mix and match of fabulous fabrics on those pillows! And of course Old Glory!

Stay safe and have FUN!! I'm going to be taking a long-weekend to enjoy the holiday, so I'll see you back here Monday! :)

Jill Litner Kaplan Interiors

The lovely Luciane of Home Bunch recently shared a beautiful shingle-style home designed by Boston's Jill Litner Kaplan Interiors. You're looking at my favorite turquoise-infused spaces from that home, photographed by Michael J. Lee. I cannot even handle how gorgeous that tile is in the shower (Waterworks Repose-a custom-blended formula of "Bliss" and "Cucumber")...it's absolutely incredible! Love the fun bedroom too, especially the built-in desk area and window coverings. Definitely head here to see more of the home, and visit Jill Litner Kaplan Interiors for even more fabulous projects!

Melissa Haynes

Fresh and bright and totally eco-friendly! Arkansas interior designer Melissa Haynes of MH Designs used soothing nature-inspired hues to exude a feeling of calm–exactly what her clients wanted for their home. Equally important to them was living in an energy efficient, environmentally conscious and non-toxic space, which Melissa also accomplished during the year-long project. Love the cozy swing and Dash & Albert rug (we have the same one in our kitchen!) in the porch, and the Urban Electric lanterns and Oly chandelier in the dining areas! It's interesting to learn how she made the home both beautiful and sustainable, so vist At Home in Arkansas to read the article and see more photographs by Rett Peek!

And in case you missed it last year, check out this other project from MH Designs...it will take your breath away!

Sheila Bridges Design

Did you get your chance to drool over July's Kitchen of the Month at House Beautiful?? The New York City kitchen belongs to interior designer Sheila Bridges, and I love that she took such a bold approach with the small space. The cabinets painted Benjamin Moore's Hemlock look fabulous with the shimmery wallpaper (Torino Damask by Sheila Bridges). Love the marble subway tile and countertops (from Home Depot!) and the big farmhouse sink too! Read the article about the stylish space and see more photos by Annie Schlechter over here!
