Lulu Designs

Anyone recognize this house?? Interior designer Lindsay Espinoza of Lulu Designs out of Costa Mesa, California designed the house for HGTV’s Showhouse Showdown. I adore the color scheme she chose for the home; the cool blues, greens and greys with the turquoise is so up my alley! I'm especially loving the reclaimed barnwood in the bedroom, one of my favorite Angela Adams rugs in the living room, and the striking blue cabinets in the kitchen! Oh and even a nursery, how about that! ;) See more photos of the home and even watch the HGTV episode right over here!

Happy weekend! I'm hoping for some real spring weather!

Lisa Kanning Interior Design

Paradise, friends...otherwise known as Turks and Caicos! With a view like that, I'm not sure you'd ever possibly get me inside! New York interior designer Lisa Kanning filled the interior with incredible color and textures, hinting of the beauty just outside. Love all the tile, and that fab seaweed art in the bedroom!! The outdoor areas are equally as stunning. Sun or shade, this home was designed for relaxing! See more of this home as well as other incredible designs from LKID here!

Denise Briant Interiors

You certainly don't need a ton of turquoise in a room to make an impact! Interior designer Denise Briant out of Flemington, New Jersey created this stylish and comfortable family room for an active family with a strict budget. I love that she used their existing furnishings (sofa, chair, ottoman and armoire) in her fresh and cheerful design, and chose the perfect blend of high and low-end pieces to complete the space! The lamps are one of my all-time favorites! See more images–including before shots right over here!

Kim Hoegger HOME

I am so ready for summer! This Lake of the Ozarks home in Osage Beach, Missouri designed by Kim D. Hoegger, an interior designer out of Rockwall, Texas, is the epitome of relaxed summer fun! What I love most (other than the beautiful wall colors!) is that the entire home photographed here by Bill Mathews was done with a wallet-friendly budget. In addition to using existing furnishings, Kim stuck to sources like HomeGoods, Home Depot, local antique stores and Round Top Texas. The look is cheerful and comfortable, perfect for fun times and lake-living! To read more about the home, pick up the new summer issue of Cottage Style magazine! And for great design advice, check out Kim's new e-book and of course her inspiring design blog! Oh and if you're looking for a fun family vacation, you can even rent out this home–more info (and pics) on that here!

In Detail Interiors + Greg Riegler Photography

First things first, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the kind comments and emails about our little one on the way!! Your excitement and well-wishes kept pouring in all weekend and Chris and I were truly touched by each one! I feel truly blessed to have so many friends and such great support out there! :)

But back to the turquoise! This gem designed by In Detail Interiors and photographed by Greg Riegler makes a splash in an Alabama rental home located right on the beach...the perfect place for a super fun kitchen! I cannot stop staring at that fab-u-lous backsplash. No doubt it's one my favorites to date! The blue-green colors and wavy pattern...LOVE it! I also love how the designer kept the rest of the space fairly neutral, it really balances out the colorful kitchen. Learn more about the space and even vote for it for the NKBA's People's Pick 2013 here!
