Francois Gilles

Now that is some incredible turquoise tile!! The amazing home photographed by Simon Watson belongs to French interior designer and rug-importer Fran├žois Gilles, and is located in the small southern Moroccan city of Taroudant. Other than the fabulous herringbone tile (which I truly cannot get over!), I'm loving all the outdoor areas. I've never seen so many places to relax! Read the article all about Taroudant and see photos of more of its beautiful homes at T Magazine!

Hi, Erin! Not only the tiles are amazing, the spaces are fantastic! Love the lamps and the drums made tables!

The colours are great and bright. Now a blue like that would be kind of depressing in Vancouver,bc since it's always cloudy and pretty cold. Turquoise would be amazing in bright warm places.

Like your site, very cool to make a blog about a color!
I found a rug in Turkey that is creme and has a turquoise border - a one of a kind rug I have never seen bofore! If you like just have a look. The color is much brigther in original than on the pictures.
I have it on my website and on 1stdibs.
