Amy Wagner + Jill Gaynor

Coastal cool in Louisville! Amy Wagner of Reflections of You and Jill Gaynor of Home Staging Specialists put the fab in fabulous when they designed this 2012 Homearama home from The Buttorff Company. Besides the light and airy feel and coastal-inspired color palette, I am absolutely loving the unique custom pieces created by Linda Gale of Southern Inspirations. Those turquoise chairs in the first pic?! Seriously amazing!! Love the turquoise with the yellow there too! You can tour more of the home, including the beautiful exterior, right on over here! Happy weekend everyone! :)

Lucy Williams Interior Design

What's more fun than a house by the ocean?? A pool house by the ocean! This cheery space was designed by Norfolk, Virginia interior designer Lucy Williams. I am eating up the turquoise and tangerine color palette that the client requested, and of course the spectacular views of Virginia Beach's North End! Since it's a pool house, Lucy chose great indoor/outdoor fabric from Lily Pulitzer and Trina Turk to make everything swimsuit and wet-towel friendly. (It always blows my mind how gorgeous outdoor fabrics are these days!) To see 'before' pics and for more info on the fun space, head on over here!

Mitchell Wall Architecture & Design + Fifi Lugo

Shingle style homes get me every single time!! This St. Louis stunner designed by architect Susan Bower of Mitchell Wall Architecture and Design and photographed by Alise O'Brien looks straight out of the Hamptons! Interior designer Fifi Lugo gave the family-friendly home its light and airy feel with perfect touches of turquoise throughout. I love the star pendants in the breakfast nook–never seen a trio of them like that before. And that bathroom, ohmygosh you guys, I can't even tell you how much I love it! Then the kitchen. THE kitchen. I can't even type, I just want to go stare at it some more! Read the article about the home and see more photos over at St. Louis Magazine. (They put together a great source list too!)

Kara Cox Interiors

Some of my favorite rooms on my blog are the ones that look truly lived in. And that's one of the reasons I'm loving these rooms by Greensboro interior designer Kara Cox, which were all captured so beautifully by one of my favorite photographers Stacey Van Berkel. Kara's subtle but sophisticated use of color and pattern is fantastic! I especially love that first light-filled living room, how she expertly pulled the colors from the pretty rug into the furnishings and accessories. That dining room is amazing too, love the grasscloth walls and those gorgeous chairs! Head right here to see even more from Kara!

Melissa Haynes

So, so heavenly!! This beautiful home belonging to interior designer Melissa Haynes of MH Design out of Rogers, Arkansas and photographed by Rett Peek for At Home in Arkansas is about as dreamy as they come. From the yummy subway tiles in the kitchen to the “Westerly Wind” by Glidden walls in the bedroom, I am drooling over every single square inch of this home. I love that Melissa covered a screen in Kelly Wearstler fabric for privacy in the drop dead gorgeous bathroom. You still get all of the light without all those pesky neighbors peaking in! Lastly–I really loved her tip about adding your own personality to your space:
Character comes out in layers of pattern, color and texture. Some people might go more neutral if they are a little more reserved, and others might go full-on color. Either way, to make it work, it’s important to keep a mix in mind: modern with antiques, patterns with textures, neutrals with bolder colors. There’s a magical combination of these elements that can speak to your personality. Similarly, when you walk through a space, you should see your special things: an heirloom, a piece of art, something that reminds you of a moment with your family.
A moment with your family...yes! You can see more even photos of her home and read the entire article here!
