Trisha Brink Design

There's nothing better than a room full of personality, but it's not very often we see that in a bathroom!! This one belonging to interior designer Trisha Brink knocked my socks off. Ten years ago when she moved into her 1913 Craftsman home in Lynden, Washington, Trisha used an old shelf found in an antique shop to custom match the perfect shade of blue for the walls. I love it! The gorgeous blue claw foot tub?? That's original! I just adore her many collections here, especially all of the vintage beach themed paintings! You can read all about the space and learn the story behind everything else over at Trisha's blog here! And if you love her style, definitely check out her store Grandiflora Home!

It's finally Friday, which means it's time to announce the winner of the $100 gift certificate to Poppin! The lucky duck happens to be:
ginahicks

Happy weekend everyone!! :)

Tracery Interiors

Oh, coral and aqua, you do make my heart flutter! This light and bright beach home designed by Paige Sumblin Schnell and Anna Kay Porch of Tracery Interiors is located in Alys Beach–a Florida beach community that I now must one day visit! Seriously folks, I never tire of fun color layered over a neutral palette. The small bursts of aqua in the throw pillows (from Lacefield Designs) make such an impact! And I'll bet all of you Imperial Trellis lovers out there are eating these images up too!! Check out more great photos of the home taken by Jean Allsopp over at Tracery's blog!

Jute Interior Design

Simply. Stunning. To say that I love this home is a serious understatement! The incredible space was designed by Alison Davin of Jute Interior Design out of Mill Valley, California and photographed by Drew Kelly. While I'm pretty obsessed with white kitchens, I have to admit that they're all kind of starting to look the same. Enter this one! Definitely not your cookie-cutter white kitchen, is it? That amazing tile!!! It was enough to take my breath away, that's for sure. I adore all of the fabric choices too and the cute breakfast nook perfect for a family. The other spaces are equally as chic and family-friendly too! To check out more fantastic designs by Jute, visit their website here!

Emily Gilbert + High Point Finds

One of my all-time favorite interior photographers is Brooklyn-based Emily Gilbert. Just check out all of these beautiful rooms I've already featured that she's captured...each one is absolutely heavenly!! This particular space was designed by Ali Schwarz, another one of my favorite talents. I love the four poster bed, aqua grasscloth wallcovering, not to mention the crisp white bedding and colorful pillows! (And I betcha I'd love the bathroom around the corner too!) To tour more of this home, just head right here!

It took me awhile, but I've compiled a slew of snapshots I took with my iPhone at the High Point Furniture Market! Below you'll see some of my favorite finds from my days out wandering the mega market that is High Point. (My apologies to those who follow me on Instagram, there are repeats!) There's really no rhyme or reason to them, but I labeled each one and linked to the manufacturer if you want more info. I still have some more photos to share, ones I actually took with my good camera, so expect those soon too!

Phew! Thanks for sticking with me there! As you can see, I typically gravitate towards the colorful! It was agreed by everyone that color was definitely in this fall at High Point, with blue being one of the favorites. (I loved Stacey's post here). I did see a lot of turquoise too, turquoise and coral/orange being a popular combo. It's so much fun doing some trend-spotting and seeing what all is new out there! AND seeing so many of my blog and designer friends! Gotta love High Point!
