Jillian + Katie Pilcher

TGIF! I thought this cheerful room brought to us by Jillian and Katie Pilcher, the mother-daughter duo from Dothan, Alabama, made a perfect ending to the week! What makes this space extra special is the fact that it belongs to Jillian, and she's only 13! She and her mom worked together to create a vibrant, happy space that describes Jillian's personality to the T. It was important to Katie that her daughter have the space to show off her creative abilities (the crafter/writer/artist even has her own blog!), so plenty of her art and crafts are on display. But she's not the only talented one here...Katie made the window coverings and bedskirt herself with all the great fabric Jillian picked out on I especially love the floral fabric with the birds, it's gorgeous! The two did have some help from Tim, Jillian's handy dad who built the tables and the cornice. Team project all around! You can read all about the makeover and see more images, including before shots, over at Katie's blog Bellamia!

Young Huh

Ever since Stacey of Quintessence shared a sneak peek of this gorgeous kitchen designed by Young Huh, I've been dying to devour the images in the November issue of House Beautiful! What I love most is that it reminds me of one of my happiest places on Earth: my grandma's kitchen! My grandparents lived in a century-old farmhouse in Iowa (where my aunt and uncle now live) and I feel like this captures a lot of the same spirit. It's no wonder, this circa 1900 home was renovated to have the same humble and homey feeling of the homeowner's childhood home–with modern amenities of course! The color on the cabinets, "Teresa's Green" by Farrow & Ball, looks up to date but still has that charming, old-fashioned vibe. Just perfect all around! And don't you love the dog peeking through the screen door?! See the photos by John Hall, which were styled by Gregory Bissonnette, and read the entire article over at House Beautiful!

Camille Roskelley

How on earth did we deserve this treat?! A million thank you's to Camille Roskelley for allowing us into her beautiful home! If you didn't notice she and I share a love of the same color (and Sherwin William's Rainwashed), however this girl has some serious talent for decorating!! Trust me, click here and see what this home looked like only 7 months ago when her family moved in! That's a serious knack! To top it all off, most of what you see is is from Home Goods, Target, and furniture outlets! Camille isn't even an interior designer, she's actually a fabric and quilt designer (and an awesome one at that, check out her blog Simplify or her first book Simplify With Camille Roskelley: Quilts for the Modern Home!) I could eat up these photos all day, there's so much inspiration here. To continue down the eye-candy rabbit hole, you can see her befores-n-afters here, this post here has more pics and sources (read in the comments for even more) and see below for a source list! And to purchase Camille's fabric (see image right above...LOVE them!) or patterns, visit her online shop Thimble Blossoms!

Niki Kantor Rubin

My oh my, is this fun or what?! The energetic living room belongs to Niki Kantor Rubin, the owner of Papery and Cakery, a blog and boutique where she sells and designs couture invitations. (You may remember her adorable nursery I featured last year, boy those cuties have grown!) This colorful space is so stylish, it's hard to believe it's also family and pet-friendly! I love her fab paint chip art on the walls, it looks perfectly paired with the Novogratz family rug! (I didn't even realize it was the 'family' rug right away, I think it looks better here!) The gorgeous photographs by Shelley Arminio sure captured the energy of the space too! Love it all!! To see more of the space and learn about all the sources, just visit Niki's blog here!

I'm still in High Point but am headed home this afternoon. Can't wait to share with you some of the beautiful things that I've seen! I will tell you this much, the people here are so nice, I hate to leave! Southern hospitality at its finest!
