EA Interior Designs

Imagine: You and 31 of your closest friends and family, staying together in this amazing (and huge!) oceanfront beach house in Virgina Beach! The 12 bedroom, 13 1/2 bathroom home was designed by Emily Sheipe of EA Interior Designs out of Chesapeake, Virginia. She chose a lovely shade of turquoise (Benjamin Moore's Palladian Blue...anyone guess that right??) to bring the sea inside, and filled the home with comfortable and durable furnishings perfectly suited for big family gatherings. I can't even imagine the coordination required for designing a home that big, but she sure did a great job!! If you're looking for a rental that sleeps 32 people (well 31, since I'll probably have to join you!), visit the real-estate site here. And to read all about the home and see more pics, including the bedrooms and bathrooms, just head on over to Emily's blog here!

It's time now to announce the winner of the Junk Bonzana VIP tickets!!

Dyfari Interiors

If you needed a burst of happy today, I hope this bright bedroom did the trick! The vibrant space was designed by Diane Guariglia of Dyfari Interiors out of Cold Spring Harbor, New York for the Old Westbury Gardens Designer Showhouse, photographed here by Ric Marder. Always a fan of beautiful wallcovering, the Cole & Son "Rajapur" wallpaper we're seeing stopped me in my tracks! As did the two white chairs and window coverings, all so fabulous! Get this...the cool chandelier? It was white, but Diane spray painted it lime green to match the room. And the cute turquoise lamps on the nightstands? She found them at a garage sale and spray painted them too, then purchased cheap lampshades and adorned them with ribbon. (I never think to do that stuff!) For lots more great design inspiration from Diane, head on over here!

O Interior Design

I love a home with personality, and this one definitely has it! Trained interior designer and homeowner Jeanette Azar worked with Andrea Schumacher of O Interior Design out of Denver, Colorado to her make her neutral home pop. I love the hand-embroidered floral Groundworks ‘Nolita’ linen fabric on the windows in the living room, the aqua Arteriors Home chandelier in the study, and the neutral grasscloth wallcovering throughout! Did you see the peek into the sunny dining area off the kitchen?? Looks like a room I'd LOVE too!! Check out more pics by Don Riley and read all about the home over at Colorado Homes and Lifestyles!

Kelly Serra Donovan

So much inspiration here, I can't stop taking it all in! This lovely home belongs to Kelly Serra Donovan, the co-founder of Scandinavian Made–an online store importing one of kind artisan ceramics and hand woven rugs. Aside from the beautiful paint choices (bedroom is painted Sherwin Williams Windowpane, playroom is Sherwin Williams Rainwashed, and living room Benjamin Moore Stonington Gray), I'm loving how cheerful and cozy her home feels. All of the fabulous rugs and ceramics from her shop combined with her unique furnishings (LOVE her desk!) make for such a great collected look! And how lucky is her little girl to have such fun, imaginative spaces too...the bird decals from Love Mae above the bed are just the cutest! For more inspiration from Kelly, visit her blog The Kitchen Designer, which she co-authors with her mom, renowned kitchen designer Susan Serra!
