Siemasko + Verbridge

What I'd give for a pool house exactly like this one!! Actually I wouldn't mind if this were my entire house, it's that cool! Designed by Siemasko + Verbridge out of Beverly, Massachusetts and photographed by Eric Roth, the fun space was built for a family of eight to hang out poolside. Don't you love that loft space?! THE perfect place for a sleepover! The oceanfront home in Marblehead, MA boasts a pretty incredible view too!! I don't know about you, but I'm so ready for the weekend now!!

BUT, before I go I need to announce the winner of the Shop Ten 25 giveaway!

Enjoy your weekend everyone! Still plenty of time to have lots of summer fun! :-)

Mick De Giulio

Normally I'm into all-white kitchen, but this one designed by internationally renowned kitchen designer Mick De Giulio of de Giulio kitchen design out of Chicago has me seriously rethinking that! Photographed by Dave Burk of Hedrich Blessing Photographers, this French country kitchen from a home in Monte Sereno, California strikes the perfect balance between rustic and elegant. I love all the natural elements here, the open shelving and nooks, and the big island, not to mention the windows and fab aqua backsplash (obviously)!! You can see lots more amazing kitchens designed by Mick De Giulio right here, or check out his book Kitchen Centric, which features eighteen of his favorite kitchen projects!

Historical Concepts - Day Two

A slice of heaven, right there in Palmetto Bluff!! Today we're finishing our tour of this incredible South Carolina home designed by Historical Concepts, an architecture firm specializing in traditional and vernacular design. I can't decide what I'd prefer... the breezy porch with the swinging bed and fireplace, or the attic bunkroom with the cozy curtained bed niche! All just so darn delightful! If missed out on yesterday's post, check it out here because there are more photos by Richard Leo Johnson/Atlantic Archives of the home waiting for you!

If you're like me and just cannot get enough of beautiful Southern homes, Historical Concepts has a new book out called Coming Home: The Southern Vernacular House. The stunning coffee table book is filled to the brim with breathtaking interiors...the home above even has its own chapter! Read all about the book here!

Historical Concepts - Day One

There's just something about a charming southern home that gets me every time and this fabulous one designed by the traditional architecture firm Historical Concepts absolutely took my breath away! Located near Bluffton, South Carolina, the cottage at Palmetto Bluff was decorated by Ruthie Edwards out of Hilton Head, SC, who layered soft neutrals and sea-inspired blue tones to create a fresh and soothing atmosphere. Doesn't it all feel so inviting and comfortable?? I LOVE that front porch with all the shutters! No matter the weather you could be out there relaxing! The open kitchen is great too...love those marble countertops! Y'all come back tomorrow because we'll be finishing the tour with lots more lovely photographs from Richard Leo Johnson/Atlantic Archives!

Abbe Fenimore + Shop Ten 25 Giveaway!

Since 2007, Dallas interior designer Abbe Fenimore of Studio Ten 25 has been delighting homeowners (and lots of bloggers!) with her eclectic and vibrant style! I for one have been a fan for a long time, as Abbe was responsible for one of my all-time favorite bedrooms (see it here)! I looove this home she designed, photographed by Melanie Johnson, that happened to be featured in this month's Cottages & Bungalows. The yummy colors, fun patterns, and fab furniture (especially that tufted ottoman) are all just so great AND child-friendly, thanks to durable, stain-resistant fabrics! You can check out more eye candy and inspirations from Abbe at her website and her blog!

Not only is Abbe busy in her design studio, but she also runs a online store called Shop Ten 25 filled with unique and chic items for the home. Just this month the store was relaunched with terrific updates and tons of new pieces. To celebrate the relaunch, Abbe is generously giving away this pair of ceramic Foo Dogs with a gorgeous turquoise glaze, valued at $135. (They measure 3.5 x 5.5 x 13.5".) Seriously, how great are these?!
