Happy Easter!

I can't believe it's almost time to celebrate Easter! I love this picture-perfect spread from Sweet Paul magazine, styled by Paul Lowe and photographed by Ellen Silverman. Such a neat idea to incorporate the old books and letters. And I adore the mix of vases and spring flowers! Can you tell that some of the flowers are made of paper?? I'd never think to do that!! You can learn more and see additional photos right on over here! (Great magazine if you haven't checked it out!)

Before I turn off my computer for the holiday weekend, we need to announce the two winners of Kathryn Greeley's book The Collected Tabletop!

And with that, I wish you all a very happy Easter and wonderful weekend to go along with it!!

Home Office for Everyone!

Whistle while you work! I'm not sure I've ever seen such a cheery office space, especially one that can entertain (distract!) kids and pets! My dogs and cats usually end up in my office with me, so I could really use something like this. The Flor tiles are so practical, as is the adjustable-height table in the middle. Lots of great storage and display ideas too. The window seat and turquoise curtains are my favorite though....I love that fabric! (Thomas Paul Stockholm in Marigold and Silhouette in Turquoise.) So cute how they used them on the dog bed too! See more images of the fun work space over at BHG!

CBB Interiors

It pretty much goes without saying that I absolutely, positively, ADORE this home! When I first saw the images on Birds of a Feather, I literally gasped out loud–repeatedly! Designed by Caroline Beall Bracket of CBB Interiors out of Charlotte, North Carolina, this beautiful beach home is all about turquoise...beautiful, watery, yummy turquoise! Light and airy, carefree and fun, but practical too (as any beach home should be) considering all of the upholstery is done in white Sunbrella fabric! It's almost as if Caroline entered my subconscious and designed my ultimate dream home! Head on over and visit Hooper and Ann at Birds of a Feather to see more of this fab-u-lous home!

Viscusi Elson Interior Design

Surf's up! This cheery home designed by Gina Viscusi of Viscusi Elson Interior Design is located on Santa Cruz' Pleasure Point, one of the most famous surf spots along California's coastline. Talk about the ultimate beach house for an avid surfer, with its laid-back, casual vibe! Even the drapery in the master is made of sailcloth material! I know you're all loving the color on the walls in the bedrooms. The bunkroom is painted Benjamin Moore's "Wythe Blue", while the other two rooms are Benjamin Moore "Antique Jade". And speaking of the bunkroom, not only is it kid-friendly, but it's designed to accommodate adults! Finish your tour of this fun home right over here!
