Fawn Galli Interior Design

I know these images have been floating around the blogosphere like crazy, but they deserve a special place here too! Interior designer Fawn Galli used a kaleidoscope of color when designing this Greenwich Village apartment for a fashion-forward New York photographer. The owner wanted a fairy-tale feel with strong turquoise and fuchsia accents throughout. Don't you adore those tufted dining chairs?? A perfect burst of color for the gorgeous white kitchen! Visit Fawn's portfolio here for more photos by Emily Gilbert. And for more photos by Jonny Valiant and to read all about the whimsical home (including sources!) head on over to House Beautiful!!

Ooh and coincidentally, see those fab aqua vases on the dining table?? They are from Grace Home Furnishings (LOVE them) who happen to be having a sale on One Kings Lane right now...and the Set of 3 Oona Vases are for sale! (The sale ends on 03/24 at 11am EDT, so better snag them quick if you want them!)

Happy weekend everyone! :)

A.P. Savino LLC

Located in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, this incredible water-front property built by A.P. Savino LLC centers around family, comfort and home. Awash with all of my favorite sand, sea and sky colors, the interior is filled with comfortable furnishings that invite you to kick up your feet and relax! I don't even know which room above is my favorite; the details in each are exactly what I'd want in my own dream home! You'll definitely want to tour the rest of the home right here!

Helene Toresdotter

This delightful home photographed by Helene Toresdotter has so much spirit, I love it! Located in Sweden, the 4-story home overlooking the sea was built in 1916, but the owner André Waldhör spent three years renovating the space. It's obvious he considered the history of the home, it has so much historical charm! And get this...all the furniture in the home was bought used or found in a landfill! I have to say though my favorite part is the Josef Frank wallcoverings (Vårklockor and Eldblomma), and of course all the turquoise trim! You can see even more photos of the home over at Hus & Hem!

Donna Elle Interior Design

If you've been reading House of Turquoise for a while, you know I have a serious love affair with all things Nantucket. Wonder why! This gem designed by BPC Architecture, Cross Rip Development, and Donna Elle Interior Design was built from scratch to give the lucky owners full advantage of the amazing ocean views. They also wanted the look of a Nantucket beach cottage that had evolved over time, as well as a casual vacation retreat with a sophisticated vibe. That's exactly what they got, I'd say! Donna Elle was inspired by the colors outside for her palette of white, soft blue, and gray, and chose elegant yet durable furnishings that could withstand wet bathing suits and sandy feet. Pretty sweet, huh?? Dream home all the way! You can read the story all about the home and see the photos by Nat Rea over at Boston Magazine!

Peterssen/Keller Architecture

Would you believe this master suite photographed by Rik Sferra is in the 3rd floor of a 1920s Tudor duplex?? Peterssen/Keller Architecture out of Minneapolis transformed a number of dark, clasutrophic rooms into a master suite with the feel of a modern loft. I love how the beautiful walnut flooring ties the space together. Is that bathroom not incredible?! That's some seriously cool glass mosaic tile action there! LOVE it!

Oh and thanks so much for all of your birthday wishes for Chris!! He loved reading them! And we had such and awesome weekend celebrating! :)
