Richard Bubnowski Design

A tour through an incredible beach house is always the best way to end the week! This oceanfront vacation home along one of New Jersey's barrier islands was designed by Richard Bubnowski Design out of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey and photographed by Sam Oberter. Stunning or what?! The interior designer on the project was done by Elizabeth B. Gillin Interiors and she did an incredible job making the casually elegant home feel light and fresh, just the way a beach home should feel! Did you notice the incredible blue coffered ceiling in the living room??? That's my favorite part of the whole home! Visit Richard Bubnowski Design

Jamie Salomon

When I saw these two rooms photographed by Jamie Salomon, my socks were knocked right off!! The incredible spaces designed by Karen O'Brien of KOB Interior Design in Melrose, Massachusetts are like nothing I've seen. I love how the bathroom is part rustic with the fieldstone covering the curved wall and the brown stone tiles, but then you have that gorgeous vintage tub and fabulous chandelier! And then there's the bedroom with its turquoise accents and heavenly curtains two stories high! Wow! You don't want to miss out on the rest of the home–so visit Design New England to see more!

Petit St. Vincent

Sometimes you just need to get away from it all and I can't think of a better escape than Petit St. Vincent, "a private island for private people" in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. You won't find a TV, phone or internet *gasp!* in any of the 22 newly renovated cottages. Instead the sound of waves, birds and breezes accompany the breathtaking views! I really love the interiors, featuring native stone walls and beachy color palettes. In fact, I'll take any one of them! You can see more pics and learn all about the hideaway right here!

Allison Hennessy Interior Design

If you're not yet familiar with New York designer Allison Hennessy, I'm super excited to make the introduction–I'm positive we'll be hearing a lot about her in the future! In fact, she was just selected as one of Traditional Home's “New Trad 10” for 2012 (nominated by Stacey Bewkes of Quintessence.) Like the editors, I too love her fresh take on traditional design. Before starting her own firm, she worked for a lot of amazing designers, including two of my all-time favorites: Phoebe Howard and Meg Braff. And to top it all off, Allison is incredibly sweet! AND she has a blog called Manner of Style that you all must check out! I love these two rooms that she designed...awesome furniture of course, but the fab turquoise fabrics and fun patterns really bring it to life!

Brian Patrick Flynn

Many of you may already be familiar with Brian Patrick Flynn aka Décor Demon. He's a television producer (TBS Movie & A Makeover and HGTV Design Star) turned self-taught decorator/designer...and he is all about color! In fact, and I'll quote him here, “Beige makes me want to stab myself in the face with a dull fork!" Ha! I love the flamestitch FLOR tiles in the dining room, they look amazing with the turquoise on the ceiling and walls. And how cool that he framed fab wallpaper swatches for art!
