Four Chairs Furniture + Fun Stuff

I love a serene bedroom with beautiful linens, and this one photographed by Hiya Papaya and designed by Lindy Allens, owner of Four Chairs Furniture, is no exception! We've seen more colorful, pattern-filled parts of her home the last two days, so this hideaway is definitely a calm departure! I love the simple reminders of the coast, and those breezy bed linens!

A good way to end the week?? Celebrating another birthday! This time it's our four-legged, newest family member! Remember when we first brought her home?? She was so tiny!! Well today she's turning ONE! Happy Birthday, Gertie!

Can you handle that face?!

In other news, I'm heading out to LA on Sunday for the Design Bloggers Conference. I attended last year and had a blast, so I'm super excited. Are any of you attending?? I'll be back Thursday and have some great guest bloggers filling in for me until then!

Four Chairs Furniture - Day Two

Today we're continuing on our tour of designer Lindy Allen's colorful home, with fabulous photography by the talented ladies at Hiya Payaya! As you remember, Lindy owns Four Chairs Furniture in Lindon, Utah, which specializes in custom, real wood furniture. It's no surprise that her home is filled with such fabulous, unique pieces and super-fun accessories! I love that she has kept the background neutral, so she can change her accessories in and out as often as she wants. What fun she must have!! Most of what you see can be found in her store, but if you don't see it online, just contact her!

Four Chairs Furniture - Day One

Many of you may remember last year's week-long Dream Home Tour of a beautiful Hamptons-style home located in Utah. The homeowners worked with Lindy Allen, designer and owner of Four Chairs Furniture. Well we're in for a treat today–and the rest of the week–because we're visiting Lindy's very own home! As you can already see, we're in for loads of unique furnishings, great pattern and juicy color–including bursts of turquoise (Lindy's favorite too!) We're starting off today in the foyer, piano room, office and mudroom. How fun, right?? Like the last tour, this one is also photographed by Hiya Papaya Photography! And most of what you see came from her fab, fab store Four Chairs Furniture (it's a good thing I don't anywhere near Lindon, Utah or I'd be in serious trouble!)

Come back tomorrow to see more of this awesome home!

Southern Lumber & Millwork + Allen Design, Inc

To own a cute little cottage is one of my dreams and this quaint 1890's Sullivan's Island cottage would be perfect! Allen Design, Inc worked with Southern Lumber & Millwork Corporation out of Charleston, SC t0 restore the beautiful beach home, refinishing the interior with historically appropriate materials. They repaneled the walls and ceilings, restored the fireplace, replaced the windows, and refinished the original wood floors. I love how the rooms open up into each other, making the cottage feel a lot more spacious than it is. What a perfect place to getaway and relax!

(That cute rug can be found here!)

Lori Tippins Interiors

So, so pretty!! This gorgeous bedroom and bathroom designed by Atlanta's Lori Tippins is a retreat like none other! The walls in both rooms are painted Farrow & Ball "Light Blue"–Lori's go-to color. I love it paired with the shimmery marble floor tiles in the bath and the fab Bennison "Bird and Basket" fabric on the canopy and pillows! To tour the rest of the home photographed by Emily Followill, head to Traditional Home! And for more eye candy from Lori, visit her website!
