I'm back from Chicago, after a sweltering, insanely hot vacation–I'm sure many of you can relate! So today more than ever I'm really digging these crisp, cool rooms designed by Maria Greenlaw & Suzanne Caldwell of Design House of the Hamptons. I realllly love that first image of the settee covered in Quadrille fabric, topped with the fun throw pillows and pop of pink from the throw. What a way to update an antique! I went to Mattie sight & fell in love with the sea horse plates with beach in the center. My choice of color would be the turquoise with the white seahorses, since there was no mention on weather you could change the color on the medalion in the center I wasn't sure but if that is an option I would like the darker blue. Thanks I would just love these for our new cottage we are building by the water with nothing but an ocean theme.

I really like the one called Fancy that is a more modern pattern but also like the one with the pineapples because it reminds me of my times in the south. As for colour, well it would have to be done in aqua, turqoise or pool!

I just love looking and having around me all things turquoise, but would be ever so happy to win the green backgound and pink/purple Pineapple plates for my daughter. Those are her wedding colors.
The pineapple is the symbol for hospitality and what better way to show that then eating off a beautiful plate.
