Erica Burns Interiors

How fun would it be to have a beach house in your family?! This Bethany Beach, Delaware home designed by Washington interior designer Erica Burns and photographed by Stacey Zarin Goldberg would be perfect! Lucky enough for Erica, it's also in her family! I love how Erica alluded to the beach in a subtle way here, through colors and textures...walls the color of sand, blue/green of the ocean, rustic reclaimed wood furniture, and the seagrass rugs and lamps. And how about that lantern? Doesn't it feel like it got that way from being outside in the salty air? And the pink stools, love those too! You can see more pics (including before's-n-after's!) and read all about the renovation of the beach home over at The Washington Post! And for more eye candy from Erica, visit her website here!

Sources:
Main Room Paint color - Benjamin Moore "Winds Breath", mixed at 75% saturation
Striped Rug- Dash and Albert Yacht Stripe (3 rugs sewn together to get the large square size)
Lantern- Urban Electric Co, custom finish ("seaside bronze" washed in a white to soften it up)

Bedroom paint color - Benjamin Moore "Fanfare"
Blue Quilt and Shams - Pottery Barn
Sheets - Pottery Barn
Seagrass Lamps - Arteriors Home

Love it! Fresh and beachy. The rug in the living room is awesome. And to add a pop of pink with bar stool cushions is a fun idea.

This is a perfect beach home! Love the colors and it just has enough accents - not too much "theming."

Absolutely lovely!
May I ask what is the color of the trim in the living room? "I've always had a hard time picking out the right shade of white.
