Dee Dee Taylor Hannah

The owner of this drop dead gorgeous kitchen (who is currently taking professional chef's classes!) worked with Canadian architect and designer Dee Dee Taylor Eustace to renovate her 380 sq ft kitchen and breakfast room. The blue-green quartzite stone on the countertops and used as inlays on the fab limestone floor inspired the room's color palette. I wish I knew what color the cabinets are painted, but they were custom mixed to match a favorite candle of the owner's. Sooo pretty! Everything is so functional and efficient here, a chef's dream come true! You can learn all about the space and see more great photos by Andreas Trautmansdorff over at Traditional Home!

Have you guys heard of the The Real Designing Women, the new HGTV reality show airing this fall? The show will be following the mastermind behind this kitchen Dee Dee Taylor Eustace in Toronto, as well as Amy Lau in New York and Lori Dennis in Los Angeles. I can't wait!

Happy weekend!! :)

Cool & Colorful Sunroom

There are loads of fresh ideas in this colorful sunroom from BHG! The pretty aqua blue vaulted ceiling is the obvious darling here...I would stare off at it all day if it were in my home. I've never been a fan of wicker furniture, but it's perfect here. I especially love the rockers! The cushioned bench in the back with all that great storage, the layered orange rugs on that cute checkered floor, and the cheery roller shades (I just love those!)...it all looks so effortlessly stylish!

Sally Markham

This South Carolina vacation home designed by Sally Markham and photographed by Thomas Loof featured in June's House Beautiful is all about the details. The windows are magnificent, by far my favorite feature here. The black perfectly frames their gorgeous view! I love the blue brush fringe on the white sofa too...such a fun touch. And did you guys notice the lattice railing on the bunk beds? The inside circles are painted Benjamin Moore's Peacock Blue! Love it!

Florida Beach House

I wonder how many homes out there were inspired by the movie Something's Gotta Give. I mean, who doesn't love that kitchen?! Well the owner of this beautiful beach home in Grayton Beach, Florida photographed by Colleen Duffley said the movie definitely inspired their new home, the kitchen and its adjoining great room in particular. I am really digging their interpretation. As much as I love white painted trim, it's refreshing to see some wood! Tour the rest of the home (including a super fun bunk room) over at Traditional Home. Oh, and get this...the cottage is available for rental when the owners aren’t enjoying it themselves! See more images and get info here!

Phillips deVeer Interiors

I was super excited last week to discover Phillips deVeer Interiors, the newly formed interior design studio founded by Elena K. Phillips and Cristin G. deVeer located in Rowayton, CT. I just love how their predominantly classic style balances traditional aesthetics with modern twists. The grasscloth (Phillips Jeffries #3441) in the dining room in the last photo....LOVE. And how gorgeous is the bathroom with the Quadrille wallpaper? What's cool is how they mix high and low though...the zigzag bedding is from Urban Outfitters (it's been on my "want" list forever!) Photographer James Grout took all these great photos, and there's even more to see over at their website!
