Red Element Design Studio

I am sure you are all glued to your screens devouring these images! This gorgeous Kiawah Island home designed by Rebekah Carter of Red Element Design Studio and photographed by Michael Costa is positively dream-worthy. The Old World European charm mixed with modern touches gives the home a luxurious but laid back look that I am loving. Call me crazy, but I could just eat up all those fabulous windows. What a treat to have French doors in the bedroom opening up to an infinity edge pool overlooking a big pond! Oh my! Read about the home and see more images at Charleston Home + Design! Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Susanne Kelley Design

Be still my heart! There is just so much beauty to relish in the 2010 Hampton Designer Showhouse master bathroom designed by Susanne Kelley for Bakes and Company. With a color palette reflecting the sky and ocean outside, the space is full-on glamorous and absolutely serene! I love all the shimmering tile, especially the mosaic floor under the fabulous soaking tub. The freestanding cabinetry is really quite something too! Head to Traditional Home for all the great details on this magnificent bathroom!

Michael Penny

I feel like House & Home has been teasing me with glimpses into the home belonging to designer Michael Penny for what seems like forever! So I was really happy to see them do an entire feature with lovely photographs taken by Donna Griffith. Don't you love how comfy and cozy his house is? I adore his attainable style, and how he and his wife Sarah incorporated a ton of DIY ideas and penny-pinched their way through decorating their new Oshawa, Ontario home. I especially love their cute kitchen with the hexagonal floor tiles and cabinetry painted Martha Stewart Living Salt Glaze (MSL141). For lots more, including befores-n-afters, head to House & Home or Michael's blog!

Remodelaholic & DIY Showoff

A little bit country and a little bit beach beach, with some red and turquoise thrown in for good measure. That's the fabulous room designed by the two talented bloggers Cassity of Remodelaholic and Roeshel of DIY Showoff. They recently worked as a team to design this entire room around the flooring (both wood and rug) for an HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw event. And what a fun event it must have been! Their vision began with the beautiful Ikat Panel rug by Shaw. They pulled out pops of blue and red from the rug and kept everything else as neutral as they could. They added texture through the furnishings, incorporated typography in several places and finally found objects like the rusted wrought iron fence and carved wooden horse to round out the space and make it feel like it grew over time. It really looks that way too...you'd never know it was all put together in just 8 hours! I adore the beautiful wall color they chose (Copen Blue by Sherwin Williams) and the red painted chandelier (Antique Red by Sherwin Williams). Both Cassity and Roeshel had great write-ups about their experience, with loads of photos and fun stories, so check out their blogs for lots more!

Lynn Morgan Design

To have a cute little waterside cottage in Nantucket...how many of us would be in absolute heaven?! This picture-perfect one by architects Brooks & Falatico with interior design by Lynn Morgan Design is just what I'd dream up for myself. All that white spiced up with yummy turquoise! I'm in love with those turquoise Moroccan poufs in the living room and the big, cozy sectional. And how about the turquoise lacquered floor in the bedroom?! Swoon!

If you're loving this home, I know you'll go nuts over this other Nantucket home that Lynn designed. I featured it quite a while back, so many of you might have missed it. Check it out here!
