So of course the one weekend we had sooo much to do, I get sick and end up having to be in bed the whole time. You should see all the projects Chris completed though...he really made a dent in the ol' list! Major thanks to my BFF Claire (she sure can rock a paintbrush) and my dad who was over a bunch last week helping us out (he has the right tool for everything)!
Seriously though, you guys know the children's book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie?? That's all I can think of as we complete each project, getting our house ready to sell. You make one improvement, then you see another you should do, which makes something else look glaringly outdated...it never ends! I'm just exhausted thinking about it! So, I think I'll just go back to bed. (Ours not nearly glamorous as this one designed by Betsy Burnham and featured in Lonny.)

I love this combination—refreshing.
Don't overdo it, Erin. Most buyers are looking for fresh paint, decent bathroom and kitchen and a clutterless space so they can see themselves there rather than you (I've bought and sold 10 properties, always at a hefty profit).
Take time to rest and let yourself heal!

feel better real soon. i love your blog. i had no idea that so many people out there loved decorating with turquoise. (:
Opaqueness can be difficult to handle on some objects. All the colors here work fine except for those two orange statues. They should be considerably more translucent to work well. Orange is a much trickerier color to handle than turquoise. Opaqueness gives a certain deadness to it which deadens the complementary effect with the turquoise.
This room is amazing! The orange and turquoise combination is really refreshing and fun!
ps. Love that book!
