Dee Dee Taylor Hannah

The owner of this drop dead gorgeous kitchen (who is currently taking professional chef's classes!) worked with Canadian architect and designer Dee Dee Taylor Eustace to renovate her 380 sq ft kitchen and breakfast room. The blue-green quartzite stone on the countertops and used as inlays on the fab limestone floor inspired the room's color palette. I wish I knew what color the cabinets are painted, but they were custom mixed to match a favorite candle of the owner's. Sooo pretty! Everything is so functional and efficient here, a chef's dream come true! You can learn all about the space and see more great photos by Andreas Trautmansdorff over at Traditional Home!

Have you guys heard of the The Real Designing Women, the new HGTV reality show airing this fall? The show will be following the mastermind behind this kitchen Dee Dee Taylor Eustace in Toronto, as well as Amy Lau in New York and Lori Dennis in Los Angeles. I can't wait!

Happy weekend!! :)

Hi Erin!

Oh, you really made me smile with your comment yesterday! I could see you saying that... :-)

I haven't seen this kitchen yet and I'm seriously IN LOVE! I wouldn't have that kind of floor, I prefer wood, but other than that is just perfect!

Thank you for always preparing truly beautiful posts for us!

Have a great weekend!

Yep, the cabinets are a great color. I agree with Luciane, I think I prefer wood floors, but overall, it's a stunning space. Thanks for the tip on the HGTV show. Happy Friday Erin.

There's a serious collection of appliances in this kitchen! I think I see two ranges, two wine refridgerators, four freezers, another oven, a coffee machine... phew! I actually really like the floors. It looks like silver travertine, which I love, although I like it better as a backsplash.

i would be an excellent cook in that kitchen!

That kitchen is a bit of a mess. The backsplash is completely inappropriate for that style kitchen.

The two smaller islands instead of one large one is interesting. It would make working with multiple people in the kitchen much easier.

Does anybody know who manufactures the counter top material or what I would be asking for from a fabricator? It says that it's a quartzite material but I don't see any info on it. Thanks!
