I'm back from vacation with this tasty treat designed by Renee Reichlyn of Premier Design and featured in the current issue of Charleston Home + Design Magazine. Who doesn't adore a burst of blue subway tile?! I love the spin on these particular tiles though, with their longer, leaner shape. Did you notice there are two islands here? (I didn't right away, I was too mesmerized by the tile!) I'm loving all the drawers...you can never have too many drawers. Read all about the space and see more images here!
Our trip to Chicago was incredible. Of course the heat was insane, but that didn't stop us from walking around all day taking everything in. Thanks so much for the suggestions! You guys who mentioned Garrett popcorn...bless your hearts. Our hotel happened to be conveniently located right next to one! ;) Lots of tours, shopping, dining (and more dining) and sleeping in. And to top it all off, the Ray LaMontagne concert was better than we hoped it would be! I can't believe it's the weekend already...gotta love that! Enjoy it everyone!

LOVE this kitchen! I noticed both islands right away, very cool! Did you notice the oval sink? I've never seen a kitchen sink like that. Great kitchen, tfs!
BTW, I live in Charleston
You forgot to mention in Chicago you went to Oak Park see the home of Prairie Architecture and the Wright Houses and studio. Oh yes, I do read Erin's blog everyday, but she can't forget one of his inspirations.

Love this kitchen. We just did remodeled our kitchen and it is very similar to this one. Blue glass subway tile backsplash, sand-colored granite, white cabinets.
I love those tiles. We were looking at the same ones in a light gray.
I love the tile too, works so perfectly in the space.
what a bright kitchen! beautiful!
What a beautiful kitchen! I don't think I've ever seen subway tile in that color, just lovely!

I'm loving the two islands. Great idea. That pop of turquoise sends me to the moon and back every time I see it.
I have owned a larger set of those canisters for over 35 years! They've been with us for 14 of the 15 moves. The kitchen is great. Glad you enjoyed Garretts among other venues.
Ohh, such a beautiful kitchen! Always loved subway tiles and these are gorgeous!
A lovely weekend to you, Erin!
Well, we have the chairs. If only we had the tile!
I had to do a triple take to see the second island. Great design!
