Sometimes the prettiest kitchens are not the biggest or most expensive! Designed and produced by Donna Talley for Better Homes & Gardens, this cute cottage kitchen used to be drab and cramped. The results of the homeowner's renovation make the space so light and cheery, and much more functional. I love the open shelving, it's such a great way to display all of their pretty dinnerware and accessories. The vintage-style pulley fixtures are super cute too! It's the beautiful breakfast nook that is my favorite feature though...it's just so cozy! See lots more photos taken by Bryan McCay and learn great money-saving tips here!

ooooh - beautiful - very inspiring. I live in a home from the 1700s with a small kitchen! thanks for the beautiful ideas!
This little cottage is adorable! Beautiful color!
I'm showing this kitchen on my blog right now too! I love it! You couldn't help but be cheery in this lovely room. It reminds me of a bowl of yummy ice cream. :)
I'm in love. Forget chocolate, I want this kitchen - and I want to see the rest of the cottage. Am I getting greedy? Thanks for this post Erin, so nice to see such a cheerful space on such a gloomy day.
Oh ....a dream kitchen
This is a happy kitchen! I would skip around everyday whipping up great masterpieces - ok, maybe not the masterpiece part, but I would definitely skip!

So sweet--I love the sea glass colors.
There's something just so refreshing about blues and greens-- they make me want to eat a cucumber and smell some flowers. Crazy? Quite possibly.
The turquoise on the beadboard is gorgeous! And I have that same stove... 'cept mine is a gas top. I love seeing 'my' things in other peoples' houses. It gives a totally new perspective on things.
Mm, precioso!!
This is such a cute cottage. I love the open shelves with the blue beadboard. This cottage is so relaxing and quaint.

this is gorgeous! I might actually cook if I had a kitchen like this!
I spy laminate countertops... But they look great! This gives me hope for the older home we're looking to buy and our lack of a remodeling budget - paint and beadboard can completely transform a space!
Love.. love the breakfast nook...!!
Adorable!!! BTW loved your wedding pixs just the sweetest thing!
This is very charming and pretty. Luciane is right the shade of blue is perfect.
This is my favorite room I've seen on your blog! These pics are definitely going into the "someday when I'm rich" folder!

Very charming. Love the open shelves and of course the cheerful blue and green color palette.
The seating area is so comfortable looking. It is a reminder that a large kitchen is not always necessary.

The light hanging above the sink is amazing! Neutral colours also make the living room and kitchen feel relaxed
Love it! Anyone know the name and brand of this paint color? or maybe somethin like it?
This is absolutely beautiful!!
Love love love this kitchen - pinned some of these images on Pinterest and featured it in our monthly blog series - Pinspiration! Thanks for sharing... http://bit.ly/MlTrUN
I really love this kitchen. It looks so refreshing. Cooking in such an area will surely be tons of fun. The colors are just so easy to the eyes and because lighter shades were used, these add more lighting to the room. Thank you for sharing this very inspiring post. I know that several other readers are dying to have such a lovely kitchen.
Does anyone know where these corbels/decorative wood brackets came from? I love the size and shape of them.
