Barbara Pervier

It's not just that designer Barbara Pervier likes blue. Her 1830's home located in Salem, MA photographed here by Laura Moss measures only 640 square feet. She chose this particular serene shade to bring the sky in from outside, resulting in a feeling of openness. I'm loving the beautiful crown moldings, and the nod to the sea with her collection of seashells. All so pretty! Visit New England Home to continue the tour!

Thank you so much for all the kind birthday wishes for Chris yesterday, he was so surprised and excited!! And he did love that mountain home!

She has turned this into a charming jewelbox, without making it 'twee'. Elegant, serene, sophisticated - but comfortable and inviting, too!

This place is beautiful! Love the Morovian star lamp, and that secretary is so stunningly gorgeous! That wood! I just want to stroke it! The molding is amazing as well. The place looks so much bigger than my first studio apartment, which was 635 square feet ...

Best,

Kimberly

P.S. How funny is it that my verification word is "tartan" (in green letters, no less)? My last name is Scottish, and today is St. Paddy's Day! Did you plan that, Erin? LOL!
