I'm almost certain that this picture perfect apartment featured on Delikatissen, most likely in some fab European city, could convince any American to down-size to 430 square feet. (Unless you live in NY, you guys already rock your small spaces!) Despite its limited size, the comfy and cozy home has such a great flow about it. Not to mention a striking color palette that I don't see nearly enough! How fun is that fabric and wallpaper?! You definitely want to see more of this home...head right this way!

Wow, Erin! So tiny and so charming! Isn't it? It makes you think twice about your own space? Am I using all the square footage in the right way? Not nearly as this, to be honest.
The last picture with that wonderful chair is my favorite. I love the fabric!
Wonderful post, Erin. Really interesting.
Enjoy you day! :-)

Post of the day: A Cottage on Shelter Island.
I live in about the same square footage, but I would trade my place for that space any day. Good find :)
Wow! I love these pictures! So beautiful!!
What a beautiful apartment! Feminine without being too precious. Love the wallpaper too!
Hi Erin,
gorgeous sofa with all those pillows piled on...pretty rooms...

The wallpaper is so whimsical - love it! Thanks Erin.
What an incredibly gorgeous space! It's used to well, and I can't get enough of that colour scheme... so serene!
Erin--this is really pretty, and a color combo that you don't see everyday. I find it so soothing and relaxing, and have often thought that lilac and soft turquoise would be a nice nursery palate. Thanks for this inspiring find!
My favourite piece is the armchair. I love how the colors of the apartment blend together so perfectly!
Dreamy photos... they make me want to curl up with a good book and a warm cup of tea :)
I've always been worried that purple and turquoise will read as too 80s. But this space looks gorgeous! I love the wallpaper. I'm thinking the key is finding the rights shades of each colours. Thanks for alleviating my fears!
Thanks so much for the mention Erin, you're the best!!
lots of love from Spain,
Kati
Fantastic, love the color plate and fabrics.... smart design for the small space. I would live there.
I love small spaces Erin and didn't think I could ever downsize from my 750 sq ft cottage until I saw this!!! Love everything about it, especially the color combo. Thanks for sharing this one.xo
You're right Erin, the Manhattan-New Yorkers clearly know how to make great use of their space. This is just another beautiful example of how to live large with less. I love the chair fabric and am quite impressed with the room dividing/sliding wall.
I'm normally not much of a purple person but that sofa is stunning. And what a clever layout this has with the sliding partition - super chic!
What a well edited space, light, a confection of pastels. Love the wallpapers too!
Great find!
Thanks for sharing!
I love that chair... I would never be bold enough to make that on my own, but seeing it done makes me want to try something similar!
This is absolutely gorgeous. As we move into our new home in only 2 weeks, I have been really unsure of what to do with my daughters room. I think this color scheme is perfect and allows for room to grow.
The patterns of African/Berber people on the chair with pots on their heads along with the depiction of Japanese people flying kites on the wall paper is reminiscent of Orientalism. It is an insensitive and Westernized portrayal of other cultures.
The wallpaper's and the chair's patterns are amazing!
Those lamps really made that purple house look more amazing. I love how they are placed and the color combination is so perfect.
This is pretty much the exact size of my tiny apartment. I have been searching for small space (this small) inspiration forever! Everything in this room is so airy, light with just enough pops of colour. I am inspired!
I am dying here...love the blue and purple.....
I love the fabric on the chair! In a way it's very ballsy of them to use that! Vibrant and wonderful!
Erin, I love what you do! I think this color combination is very fresh and featured it today on stylesson.com.
I'm loving this wallpaper and upholstery on the armchair... so charming!
Simple yet classy and elegant, you can also add some area rugs to make it more fabulous. Area rugs can help make a room feel more welcoming and comfortable.
Does anyone know where the arm chair's fabric is from? or who the designer is?
