Swedish Kitchen

Happy New Year!! I can't believe it's 2011. Wow! I thought I'd start off the year with this cool Swedish kitchen I spotted on My Scandinavian Retreat. One of the owners of this vacation home work for Ikea, so pretty much everything you see comes from the store. I love how they painted the Ingolf chairs turquoise. (Why don't I ever think to do that?) Head on over at Hus & Hem to see more of this summer home!

Oh summer...why'd I have to say that word...

I love those chairs in turquoise! Their clean and fresh looking kithcen is fantastic but that pop of turquoise really makes the space. it's amazing what a coat of paint can do to something so simple, as the basic bar stool. Happy New year to you, Erin!

Woow I really like it.. When I get my own place I'd definately want do decorate it boldly. I want my home to stand out.. :) Pink and turquoise as accent colors.

I love that indoor design has become so popular in Sweden the last couple of years, for everyone.. It makes it easier to be bold, living here.. ;)

Okay... first, love those beams! We were just talking about trying to install some like those in our living room. Second... I've been trying to figure out what to replace our current barstools with. This totally works! Hello... cheap-- and fabulous! I already have the perfect turquoise.
