This lovely 1903 Shingle Style house on Massachusetts's North Shore photographed by Michael J. Lee and featured in Design New England is all about the elegance of the Old South. The challenge interior designer Honey Collins faced in decorating this classic New England home was respecting the inherent formality while making it feel warm, exciting and fresh. I love the mix of patterns everywhere, and the perfect combination of subtle and bold color. The "landing room" is brilliant, I'd love to have a space just like it. I love the colors, the light - and the window seats! There is just something about curling up on a window seat with a book that makes me so happy:)
Such gorgeous rooms. I love the fabrics. I have scrolled through the pictures a few times already and am just drooling over them. Thanks as always for the inspiration.
Beautiful! I LOVE those window shades in the bedroom. I wonder how hard those would be for someone as sewing machine challenged as myself? So pretty and soft!
Beautiful

Wonderful- elegant and great colors! I love that american style- to have a place to sit on with lots of cushions in front of the window- a comfy place to read ...
