I hope you enjoyed all the readers' room inspiration to kick-off your weekend! I've selected some colorful and bold bedrooms, obviously reserved mainly for the younger crowd. You guys really like to have fun when you decorate your kids' rooms...I love it! Isn't it cool how everyone interprets turquoise differently, and to see all the combinations turquoise looks good with??
Keep your rooms coming to me, I love seeing them!! I'm trying to figure out how to better organize all my email, I never dreamed in a million years I'd get as much as I do! So if you've sent me something and I haven't responded, please be patient! I hope you all have a great weekend...I'm off to Iowa to visit my grandma. She turned 90 this week! :)
A couple weeks ago you all loved the kitchen by Brooke Steuart. Luckily for us, Low Tide High Style posted even more images of Brooke's beach home, including this bathroom. Is that shower not a total dream?! *sigh* I love all the baskets under the sinks too...super cute and functional! You have to go check out the rest of her colorful home...head here!
I loved the post Anne of The City Sage did on using "Super Neutrals". Definitely worth a read if you're a bit color-phobic! This room she included from the April issue of Canadian House and Home had me at hello. The beautiful home belongs to Montreal designer Daniel Brisset. Is that lantern not fantastic?! And I love how he decided to use a large table instead of a island. Reminds me of an elegant old farmhouse!
I love the blogworld! Yesterday Maria of Dreamy Whites had a guest post by Melanie of Pretties and Posies, where she shared these beautiful images from her stunning bedroom. She said, "My bedroom is all about comfort. I chose to paint my walls a soft blue to remind me of a summer sky, a day at the lake, or as my niece once said...a white-washed Tiffany box." The soft blue you see (and love...I know how you guys roll!) is Benjamin Moore's Palladian Blue. Isn't it perfectly dreamy with all the white?! I also love how she hung an old door above her bed. What a unique piece of art! Definitely head over to Dreamy Whites and Pretties and Posies, two beautiful blogs I know you'll love too!
I know you all have to remember this AMAZING top-5 kitchen. I jumped for joy when I learned that Apartment Therapy took note and decided to do a house tour of Jen Johner'sentire home!! The whole thing is just as fun and inviting as her kitchen...full of all my favorite colors and so many cute touches. If you all aren't hooked on Jen's blog The Little Things yet, definitely check it out! And for LOTS more images of the rest of her home, head over here!
I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color.
