Joni Webb and Color Healing Radio

At the small chance you haven't seen this amazing room by talented designer Joni Webb of Cote de Texas, here it is for your viewing pleasure! My absolute favorite thing about the space is the furniture. The slipcovered sofa and all the lovely pieces covered in Windsor Smith’s seafoam Riad fabric are truly exquisite! I adore the natural element of the burlap, seagrass, and bamboo too. And the aqua walls (Makaha by Pratt and Lambert)...of course. I can't wait to see even more of the room...stay tuned to her blog because soon she'll be sharing the dining room and kitchen. Until then, read all about this amazing room and see more picture of it here!

Before you leave, I want to direct you over to Color Healing Radio where I had the pleasure of being interviewed by color therapist Eleyne Austen Sharp. It was my first ever radio interview, so I was super nervous! But Eleyne has to be one of the nicest, most genuine people I've met. We talked color for a half an hour on her online radio show Luminaries, which will air on Saturday, March 13 at 3PM EST. It will be available to listen to or download here at any point afterward though, so feel free to check it out any time! Let me know what you think! :)

Crate & Barrel Atrium Collection

I usually keep turquoise product-related finds over on Everything Turquoise, but these images from Crate and Barrel were too fabulous not to share! How entirely drool-worthy is their Atrium collection?! I think these pieces would be a true investment for any person who loves turquoise. Seriously, I would NEVER get tired of them. In fact I don't think I would be able to tear myself away from them. Just so you know, I'm not getting paid for this. However, I'd be happy to accept free merchandise as compensation. ;)

Waterleaf Interiors

Thanks to Coastal Living and Elements of Style, I was introduced to Manhattan Beach designer Jill Johnson from Waterleaf Interiors. You can some great images of her coastal home over at Coastal Living, but I thought I'd share some images from their portfolio. That first image of the breakfast area is a total dream. I want it, I need it, I have to have it! The kitchen in general...all the white, pops of color, the dark floors...love it all!

Jnane Tamsna

Today I'm talking you all the way to Jnane Tamsna, a luxe hotel in Marrakech owned and designed by Meryanne Loum-Martin. All 3o bedrooms feature a fusion of Oriental, African and European influences, while utilizing natural materials, traditional techniques and dark and light textures. The outdoor setting just sounds heavenly, as the hotel is actually a collection of individual houses spread out in a garden. Some rooms even feature a private roof terrace with views over the kasbah to the Atlas mountains! Who wants to have a little meet up in Morocco?! I call this room! ;)

Cantilever Design

Back when we found out that Pantone chose turquoise as the color of the year, Nursery Notations had a fantastic post devoted entirely to turquoise children's rooms and nurseries. (You know where you're going straight from here, right?) This lovely room designed by Karman Ng of Cantilever Design, belonging to his little 4-year old daughter, was one of my favorites. The home actually won the Metropolitan Home 2009 Met Home of the Year. Check out the rest of the home here, and Karman's blog here!
