Today we're in Germany at the decadent Soho House Berlin, designed by Susie Atkinson. The 40-room boutique hotel is located in an old department store building, which was seized to be the home of the Hitler Youth base during WWII, and later the headquarters of the East Germany Communist Party. Talk about a colorful past! I'm loving the herringbone parquet floors and all that velvet. The headboards are so grand! And what about the spectacular event space, The Politbüro?! Holy mackerel! Promise me if you ever have a party here, I'm invited!

Now that's somewhere I could see myself staying!
Herringbone floors are my favorite!
Amazing. Love the tub and the headboard.

Although not necessarily my taste, totally unique and cool!
Beautiful herringbone floors and oh... how I'd love to be soaking in that tub!!
Definitely a place with a certain past!
I am not so sure if I like the bathtub in the middle of everything...
Soho House is also a club for artists and creative people by special request membership only. Quite exclusive and an interesting concept!

lovely, lovely. not sure about the bathtub, tho'.
I love the style and fabric of the chairs in the first photo. Having a bath tub in the middle of the room is unusual. Interesting rooms though!
Would love to stay there!

what a unique headboard.
Love The Politburo! Gorgeous, gorgeous space, I bet it is so sexy at night! Loving the rooms as well, they are quite luxurious, but is that a bathtub in the middle of the room in pic 3? Uh, no, not for this girl, I'd rather not bathe in front of an audience thankyouverymuch! Other than that, a really gorgeous place. - Kimberly
I'm with you - the floors are stunning. And I would say this is a MUCH better use of the building now! It's charming that they've changed it's spirit so much.

So beautiful! Def a creepy past though hehe!
The first headboard is amazing! I love the curves and shape of it. Also, I love how to tub is right smack in the middle of one of the rooms, not sure if I'd do it myself, but it sure is interesting.
Is amazing!!!
cute!!
