Bright Bold & Beautiful Giveaway!

I'm loving this eclectic boy's room I found in the October issue of Marie Claire Maison photographed by Nicolas Matheus. The bedroom belongs to the son of Tracy Rushmere, a South African designer who created Shine Shine, a line of contemporary African commemorative cloths that includes the whimsical fabric on the headboard above. So fun!

Giveaway Time!

I'm absolutely thrilled about this giveaway courtesy of Laura Trevey, artist and blogger extraordinaire! So many of you already know and love her work and blog (and her turquoise studio!) which is why I'm so excited that she painted "Birds on a Wire", a brilliant original watercolor painting that measures 5" x 11.5"--just for you guys! Don't you love the colors and those plump little birds?! Additionally, Laura is offering a 15% discount, good through the month of October. (Just contact her for details.) Although this painting is exclusive and won't be available for purchase, I know you guys will love her "Winter Wonderland" that is being featured today on my Just Blue & Green blog. Or you can copy me and get your very own "Summer Breeze"...the colors are perfection!

To Enter:
  • Visit Laura's website and blog Bright Bold and Beautiful then come back here and leave a comment below.
  • For a second chance, blog about the giveaway and enter a separate comment with the link to your blog.
  • Winner will be announced on Friday morning!
Good luck everyone! :)

Giveaway is now closed. Susie was the winner!

Wow, I love her artwork! It really speaks to me! Watercolor is a rather difficult medium to work in, and she does it so well. There is a spot on the wall in my aqua/turquoise/sea glass bedroom just waiting for the Birds on a Wire paintig! Those birds are adorable, and I know my cats will love staring at that all day (for different reasons that I!). I am IN LOVE with her Colors painting as well as Summer Breeze, and will be heading over to her Etsy store for a better look at what she has there! - Kimberly

Everything turquoise is a cunning idea! From books, bed sheets, to its accents. Have you been indulged to this shade of blue for a long time? It's so chic and savvy. Savory cool, savory breezy! This room seems like short term-furnished rentals (New Yorker-style) meets ice blue-themed water arenas.
It's a must have. It's a benchmark. It's when you plan a vacation, apartment rentals' New York City inspired rooms is what goes in your mind first. And this is it. Just look at this breezy-designed room and it will just put a lovely landmark in your mind. Good job!

Turquoise is a very cool and refreshing color. Especially this room; It's bright, breezy, cool and stylish as well. An apartment for rent in Key West has this kind of designs also. They may differ in colors and style but, the apartments for rent (Key West, FL-based) have rooms that we'll gonna love.

Frank Damon said...

Turquoise is such a refreshing color. Whenever I am surrounded by cool colors like this one, I get so relaxed and relieved. I can also remember my grandma with this because it's her favorite color. Right now, she has been in an assisted living in San Antonio, Texas for a couple of years now. She wants to have a care-free and independent life, so I took her there in the assisted living in San Antonio, TX. Gladly, she's living happily there.

Candie said...

Nice home! How I wish I could also have that turquoise thing! It's a cool and refreshing color for a certain part of the house. I want to change my old doors now with cool ornamental iron doors. I hope there are turquoise ones, so it would be nicer for my home.
