Love at first sight. That's what it was when I spotted this comfy guest cottage on Chic Coles yesterday. Photographed by Janis Nicolay and featured in Style at Home magazine, this cottage was designed by Colleen Sawatsky, owner of Vintage Home in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The colors, oh the colors...all so pretty! The breezy painted floors and furniture, delightful fabrics, crisp white walls, there is not one thing that I don't absolutely LOVE about this home! I hope you all enjoyed it too, and have the best Labor Day weekend ever!

We're heading to the lake this weekend! I only wish this was our cottage...from the photos I've seen, where we're staying wont even come close. Love the photos!
Simply divine! I am hitting the sales! Have a great weekend!
Beautiful! the second picture is my favorite because I just love the crisp white sofa with the floral throw pillows and that giant Magnolia print behind it!
Ahh, that 2nd picture is dreamy! Pink & turquoise combo always makes me happy! xoxo
So fresh and lovely. Any way to find out what color the end table and lamp are painted in the second picture?
Love this blog and the endless inspiration you provide weekly! Thank you!!!
If this is the guest cottage, so I want to be the guest forever!!
Some people say that white is boring, I don't agree at all. It looks great with perfect colors. And, that chandelier is to die for.
What a fabulous guest cottage. I would never want to leave! I love it!

Lovely and dreamy! :-)
I love all of these photos, especially that sweet bedroom at the end of the post. It brings back childhood memories of my grandmother's bedroom.
Blessings,

just darling! i hope you are well, enjoy the weekend!! susan
That first pic made me gasp out loud! That's a table for sitting around and having coffee with family and friends, chatting away the morning. Love those curtains! I'm going to be on the lookout for vintage tablecloths now. And for that magnolia print fabric. The bedroom is so adorable, you don't even notice the size.
Thank you for always bringing us such wonderful space, Erin!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!
Thanks for popping by the Cottage Erin :) I figured you would like my bedroom :D Aqua all the way! :)
I love this guesthouse you're showing off!!! Brilliant!
The turquoise in these photos has a very cooling effect. Normally blue does cool and calm, do you have any photos you could share that show it in a more cozy, winter nest way, for the months we have ahead? I'd love to see.
love those painted floorboards, and the sweetness of the tiny bedroom. It so reminds me of my childhood days at my cousins farm, western NSW, Australia
i like the white chair the green chair is also very pretty.the"bleu"floor brings me old memories.love it
ERIN. OMG, this post is amazing. How did I not see it before?? I saved every. single. picture. LOVE IT - thank you!! XO, Stephanie @ CovetLiving
love this cottage! and it's so close to where i live. is it a B n B? I want to see it up close. Just goes to show you how crisp, clean white paint can go so far. Now it's time to convince my husband of that cuz our cedar paneled walls are too dark and gross.
