I just had to bop in today to share with you this cool bedroom photographed by Gilles Trillard for Elle Decoration. Guess who it belongs to?? Jonathan Adler, of course! I have to admit, I'd never think to use that color on the walls with turquoise and orange, but it serves as the perfect background for all the bold color. And all the pattern! I am really digging the David Hicks carpet combined with the damask. And the colorful LeRoy Nieman plates are so fab too! Enjoy the holiday everyone!

That is one fab rug! I like the wall color. I actually have something similar in my dining room but a litle less intense. It really is a nuetral and I don't think anyone ever notices it.

Totally inspired by this. I founf the 4 plates on bay and they just arrived. Even more awesome in person! Saw an orange damask rug at Ballard Designs and I am thinking of getting it for our office and painting the walls this great, unexpected wall color. Any ideas on the maker/name of the paint?
