When my friend Candi of Candace Rose fame shared this Malibu beach home featured several years ago in California Magazine (and Project EcoArt) belonging to Juicy Couture co-founder Pamela Skaist-Levy, I was completely smitten! Like Candi, my dream is to live in a beach house by the ocean (surprise surprise), so seeing these images makes my heart beat a little faster. All the glorious white, mixed with striking punches of blue and turquoise...what's not to love?! Certainly that killer ocean view too! *sigh*
I love pretty much everything you post- but this house smacks of trying too hard to me- the glasswear in that beautiful display case- It looks like it is there to serve only the purpose of adding a splash of color- To me the whole place is souless- it does not feel lived in or loved- The view is amazing though-
I Love the simplicity of it all. It doesn't feel souless to me, it feels almost vacation home-ish.
We had a house growing up about an hour south of there that it reminds me of and it was just a matter of time before our towels were hanging over the railings and sand was tracked in from the beach. I miss that!
My heart is melting! Love the kitchen with the open shelving and the dark woods against all the white. And those turquoise headboards!!! *swoon* thanks for another great inspiration room!
What a coincidence, just this morning I was checking out turquoise glass on Ebay and now see this gorgeous post with all the turquoise glass. Wish I lived by the beach!
Thanks friend! I can't wait until we both have our dream beach houses on the California coast. Should we be neighbors in Malibu or San Diego?! :) Btw...do you know how I'd go about finding turquoise/blue glassware and turquoise goblets like these? Thanks again!
This home is one of my favorite beach houses ever! I, too, love the beds mixed with the Louis Vuitton handbag as a center table separating the two beds. The splashes of blue pop within the house, and I love the rustic feel. What about window coverings? Are there any kinds of turquoise inspiring shades that would fit well here? I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. When you're a lover of every shade of blue, it's a given that you're going to be obsessed with beach homes as well! I love those twin beds! Amazing! xoxo Lila Ferraro
So right Lila! Take me as another example, hehe. Turquoise happens to be my favorite color, and when I came across this blog, I just fell in love with this beach cottage. From the blue vases down to the turquoise beds, followed by the outside patio area with the ocean view, everything is oohhh so fabulous! What more can I say? :)

Great home and wonderful view!
This certainly is Beach Bliss. Love the blue but my favorite is the pop of orange with it.
That's a whole lotta eye candy!
