Lustrous Seafoam Bathroom

Ooooh do I ever love this room!!! This luxurious master bath from the Hamptons Cottages & Gardens 2006 Idea House was designed Mabley Handler Interior Design. I love all the iridescent seafoam green subway tiles in the two different sizes and slightly different shades, and the mosaic floor tile designed in a beautiful wave pattern....just perfect for its Hampton's location! The cozy nook enclosing the fabulous slipper tub is the real show-stopper here though. I wouldn't mind lazing away in there!

I'm loving the tub too! Looks like a little escape to heaven. The only thing I don't like is that you can see the neighbour's windows, which means they can see you. But other than that, an amazing room!

It's amazing what floor to ceiling glass tile can do to a space. That is my favorite element by far.

Hey Erin, thanks for the post :) This bathroom is truly the gift that keeps on giving...We did it four years ago, and people are still talking about it, and we are still getting calls for work because of it!

Just about everything in that bathroom is from Urban Archaeology, the tiles, the tub, the light fixture, even the side table. Urban Archaeology was a sponsor of the showhouse, and we had free reign to select from any of their products, which was awesome!

As for the other items in the room...The lanterns, towels and robes were from General Home Store in Sag Harbor, NY, the sink accessories were from Gracious Home in New York City, and we designed/fabricated the roman shade.

And, Dale...Regarding the neighbors being able to see in the window: This was a newly-constructed house, and the builder had just planted some fast-growing evergreen trees between the two houses...So, within a couple of years they had the privacy that you would expect a master bathroom to have!

And...The builder of the house was Richard Gherardi of Sand Dollar Development in East Hampton: http://www.sanddollardev.com
