I Adore Painted Floors!

*sigh* I love painted floors (even green ones)! Hirshfield's Color Club recently had a post dedicated to painted floors with some really cool examples. This first one above from Sunny Goode was my favorite...I'm all about bold color and patterns! So fun! Speaking of painted floors, I had to include this kitchen from High-Heeled Foot in the Door. Camila just finished painting her floor and said it was one of the easiest projects she'd ever done...and it cost only $50! Read her awesome DIY tutorial here!

Lastly, don't forget this is the last day to enter my giveaway for the Breakfast at Tiffany's Decoupage Tray from Paris Hotel Boutique! Head over here for that!

Love the tray;
There is a bluish / green kitchen on my blog today, a custom creation you might like to see.

My sister-in-law used to have the most amazing cream colored painted wide plank flooring. She said it was so hard to keep clean so they had them refinished, while still beautiful I miss the charm that the painted floor had.

These look fantastic! I have a painted wood floor in one of the bathrooms. Love it, but it has to be re-painted once a year, argh!

That first room is darling, love everything about it. Nice to see some other colors instead of the typical white painted floors.

The kitchen floor is beautiful. She did a great job. I love the color she picked, it's perfect with the white place.

The first pic in painted floors has some really cute curtains. They look painted on the edge. Is anyone familiar with painting curtains like this? I guess fabric paint is the way to go....very pretty

These are lovely. I have never expected painted floor to look adorable and fresh looking. My kids have been asking me to paint their bedroom floor with light blue but I have never considered doing it. Well, I will have to change my mind. Thank you for this post.
