Crisp and Cool Sunroom

It's rooms like this (photographed by Peter Murdock) that make Coastal Living one of my favorite magazines. All that crisp white brought to life with the bold turquoise sofa. Yum! I love all the windows, the high slanted ceiling and that cute slipcovered chair. And I especially love that a radiant heat system was installed underneath the bluestone pavers, which were salvaged from a former patio. Just what our long Minnesota winters call for! Check out MyHomeIdeas for more info on this room!

Summer chill out heaven! Love the peek of the lushious green outside, too.

I looked through the comments on the MyHomeIdeas site and a lot of people didn't like the room, or at least would change a few things (the rug, the tables, the ceiling colour, the pattern on the chair)

I really like the room.

OMG!!! My grandmother had the EXACT same wicker carpet in her sunroom! It has been there for as long as I remember...

And I love the sofa! Nothing like the combination of some crisp white and a splash of turquoise!

That lady'd better watch out that she doesn't get her toe caught in one of those holes in the rug, or she'll go flyin'!! ;)

What on earth is there not to love about this room?!

Hear, hear, on the heated floors. I am new to Minneapolis having come from NC.

I can't believe it is going to snow in just 2 months!

Very nice and bright! Turquoise is nice. I like wood and other more earthy colors myself, but this still works. Looks great.

What a beautiful sunroom! The slanted ceiling is remarkable, and its slant towards the outside makes you feel close to nature and makes sunlight come in aptly .The beautiful and very natural view outside complements well with the major white color of the room. This is a beautiful part of that house, and it makes the winter season worth staying at home with the family.
