I've never seen such beautiful tile! The colors, the mix of patterns, totally out of this world...or at least the US! Featured in
Elle Decoration, internationally renowned Italian designer
Matteo Thun and his wife Susanne used a mix of designs, including some by
Gio Ponti to cover the entire wall of the dining room of his home in Capri. The Murano glass chandelier is extraordinary! You guys do not want to miss the rest of the home, including some of the most amazing views ever! Head

Amazing tile! Any plans on doing a blog about the perfect white paint? I'm in the midst of planning a crisp white design for my house. Advice is needed desperately.
Can't say I'm a huge fan of colorful, patterned tiles on walls other than kitchen backsplashes, but this looks really good with the white interiors throughout the rest of the house!
L O V E !!! the chadalier!

Hi Erin
I just found your blog. Thanks for introducing turquoise in such a great way. It's one of the colors I was never sure about, but it looks absolutely wonderful as an accent color in many different rooms. It reminds me of summer.

that tile is quite amazing!
It has to be a mistake. I have some of these tiles all over my house and those tiles are called Talavera and are made in Mexico. Probably they mixed some of there designes with the Talavera.
I agree with the 7:45 commenter: a lot of these tiles look like Talavera.
I've been thinking of using Talavera or Moroccan type tiles on my condo living room's fireplace mantel or the surround (it's currently a plain white surround), but I've never seen anyone use so many tiles for a whole wall - wow.
I agree, they probably are Talavera. The magazine said that some of the tiles mixed in were by Gio Ponti. Who knows how many that is!
Oh mon Dieu, quel beau mur, celui de ces careaux, ce sont mes couleurs preferees, toutes ensemble. Salutations, Ewa
I love these tiles! If you go to the Amalfi Coast (which is where the island of Capri is), you'll see these tiles everywhere.
Wow, the tiles are so amazing!
wow, that beautiful tile kind of makes my jaw drop.
Erin! This kind of Tile is very common here in Mexico in fact I live near a place full of people and stores that made them... any time dear!!
The room is lovely!!
