Last July I did a short post about Samantha Pynn, the decorator, stylist, and host designer of Pure Design on HGTV, in addition to being a design editor for Style at Home magazine. Talk about talent! I only shared one image then, of the bedroom above, but you guys all told me how much you loved her and her designs. It was enough to have me hooked! So I was delighted to discover she has a new website filled with fabulous, fun, colorful rooms all photographed by Virginia Macdonald. These were some of my favorites, but definitely head here to see more!
I remember the first set of pictures. Samantha was designing for a teenage girl and it took many books of wallpaper for her to find the right one! Kind of funny to watch. Beautiful pictures. so talented. xoxo
Gorgeous! I absolutely love your blog! I just recently did a 'turquoise' post and included osme images from your blog :) take a look www.montresorblog.blogspot.com Xx
Samantha is one of my favorite designers! And I loved her show on HGTV...I'm so upset I haven't seen it on recently. But I'm glad you shared her website!
Hi Erin, Wow! I wasn't having the best day and then google alerted me to your post. Your blog is gorgeous! Do I ever feel wonderful after reading it. I was telling a friend at dinner tonight that home is everything for me - it doesn't have to be big, fancy, expensive, it just has to make me want to take a deep and relaxing breath as soon as i walk through the door. I love that your blog celebrates home and everything turquoise. As you can probably tell i'm a big fan of the colour myself. xoxoSam
Oh Erin- visit your blog with your always wonderful photos is nearly better, than shopping :-) I love the bedroom with the two, blue chairs- it looks great! I hate it, to have my clothes in my bedroom- but to find a house here in Germany with enough rooms for all is not easy- and a expensive thing... but one day :-))) I love that kitchen- really great! I just collect blue things for THAT kitchen in the future. We live for rent and we are looking for a new house and I wanna have an oldstyle kitchen- with much of blue ... The green sofa is funny- it makes happy- that white table- wonderful for young people... (oh- I am now in that age, I can speak of young people...)
Thank you, little mermaid- it´s always a pleasure for me, to be here :-)
I too like her style. But as my wife just commented, she tends to use a lot of pastel colors. I like pastel colors, but I was wondering if she would use bolder colors at times. Too much of a good thing can be boring in the long run. I'm also watching "The Antonio Treatment" and I think Antonio has a more varied style. Just my 2 cents' worth. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Samantha's style, just hoping for greater variations in the future.
I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For more turquoise fun, visit my shopping blog, Everything Turquoise. If you run into a beautiful room you know I'd love, email me: erin@houseofturquoise.com!

Those are some seriously gorgeous rooms. I'll take any of them!
Any ideas about the fabric in the first photo - pretty aqua lattice pattern?
The patterns and designs in each of these rooms are stunning! I tried to pick a favorite but I just couldn't decide. Love them all!!
Love your pictures on this blog.....Just unbelievable pictures! I too LOVE these colors...
Does any one happen to know the name of the fabric used on the chairs in the first couple of photos?

Wow! I LOVE her style. Gorgeous images.
I watched the entire season of her show on HGTV but haven't seen anything from her in a while. Anyone know what she's up to now?
