LAKBdesign

I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! What better way to start off the new week than with this magnificent kitchen. Laura of Bright, Bold and Beautiful shared one of these images on her blog, and I needed more! I discovered the space belongs to a very talented Lynn-Anne of LAKBdesign. The transformation was seriously incredible, head here for the before'n'afters. I just know her family must live in this happy space. The walls are painted Benjamin Moore "Wythe Blue"...aren't they beautiful with the pops of red and turquoise?! Those vintage lab stools that she had powdercoated red are so awesome! (And they twirl up and down...who wouldn't love that?)

After here, head over to La Dolce Vita where Paloma is sharing my fun list of "10 Things I Can't Live Without"! I don't think #1 will surprise you! ;)

gorgeous - would never think of turquoise and red as a combination but it really gives a 50's feel x

very inspired kitchen. Beautiful chandelier, but it so does not belong there. Just my opinion.

This kitchen is perfect in every way! It's go the glam factor going on (the chandelier, the crown molding, the fie place), it's got the fun factor covered (polka dot and striped dishes as well as the red stools), and it's also a cook's dream (the appliances, the huge island). Wow - I love it!!!!

Great color on the walls. And I love twirly stools too! A stool is just no good if it doesn't twirl. I absolutely love the idea of a chandelier in the kitchen. This specific one - not so much. But I think a chandelier adds an unexpected and interesting element here. Nice kitchen!

This is such a serene kitchen. I don't mind the chandy so much. I like the contrast of all the hard surfaces and the sparkly, curly chandy. Wonder what the counter tops are? Very nice.

I've been trying to decide on blue or orange for my kitchen and I think today's post helped me decide on blue.

Thanks Erin.

Erin, I also am obsessed with music. I highly recommend the French band Phoenix. The album I like is their most recent one, Wolfgang Amadeus. Also Beach House. Fun stuff.

Seriously. My favorite kitchen ever. I saved these pix to my idea folder! Thanks for sharing:)

Country Living just did a shoot here, and it'll be coming out next spring :) thanks again! lynn-anne
