I am loving the fresh and serene vibe that I'm getting from these two images! (First room from Traditional Home, second from Canadian House & Home.) I am really needing this dose of calmness today...I'm so nervous! This afternoon I'm flying down to Kansas City to meet the nice folks over at Hallmark, then tomorrow morning I'm giving their creative division a presentation all about turquoise (and my blogs, of course). What an honor to be asked to talk about my two favorite things! And hopefully we'll have some converts to our favorite color! :)

I'm in love with both of those rooms! Love the shell collection against the blue walls and love the light and airy bedroom. I'm saving them for my design inspiration file.

I, too, love all shades of blue, and my bedroom is a member of the "chocolate blues" family - walls are BM's Palladian Blue and linens are brown and white.

You always give me such inspiration with the beautiful pictures, althought I don't have the beautiful shelves that the shells are on I do have a blue stepback cupboard that they would look great on.
