I thought this room by Julia Edelmann of Buckingham Interiors was the perfect cheerful, summery image for today! I adore the blue bench and baskets, and how we're all ready for our day at the beach with our towels and lotion!
Thanks so much for your super-sweet, encouraging words yesterday! You guys are the best! Everyone from Hallmark has been so nice and so fun so far, I can't wait to report back tomorrow and tell you how the presentation went! :)
What's all this news about Hallmark? I usually read your blog faithfully every day, as a post-work pick-me-up (such a treat for the senses! My whole body does a big "Ahhhh!" when I look at it) -- but I must've missed some big exciting news, yes?
Erin was a big hit... & looked lovely in an enchanting royal blue with a multi beaded turquoise necklace...She wowed the full house & we all swore to have more turquoise.. & Erin inspiration. Thanks Erin, for bringing us your passion in person! The halls of Hallmark were a-buzz with such positive comments about what you do & how you do it. I hope you felt great about your day. I think I have to paint this weekend. The whole house. ;o) Thank you!!
Hey Erin, Thank you for the feature! We can never have enough of our favorite color in a space :) Congratulations on your new work with Hallmark. Sounds like you are on your way to the stars!
I was just going to send you a note to tell you, you of all people should not be nervous (as a total nervous nellie, my compassion is sparked by anyone giving talks or presentation like that). Your blog speaks for itself. But I just read the above comment from someone at Hallmark and it looks like it already went smashingly well! Congrats you deserve it. xoxo Just realized I should send you pictures of a master suite I just finished. It's more aqua than turquoise, but even I was floored by it's beauty when I went for the install yesterday. It's too die for! Congratulations again.
Can't say thank you enough for all the work you put into this blog... Whenever I am down I try to spend a few minutes just browsing your blog and it builds me up, calming the senses, and giving me hope through your use of color... namely aquas and turquoise!
I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For more turquoise fun, visit my shopping blog, Everything Turquoise. If you run into a beautiful room you know I'd love, email me: erin@houseofturquoise.com!

Perfect photo for summer!
I'm such a sucker for bead board...
I wish there was an area in our house for a bench and basket combo like that, but this is such a nice pic! Totally relaxing on a hot day like today!
This is a great summery entrance...it'd be perfect for that beach house in my dreams. :)
