Angeline Guido

I LOVE this bedroom designed by Angeline Guido, a young interior designer out of Dallas. She said the client's 14 year-old daughter wouldn't settle for anything other than blue walls...my kind of girl! (The color is Sherwin Williams SW6945 "Belize".) I think the results are fun and youthful, but still incredibly tasteful. The custom-made headboard and bedding are scrumptious, and I am loving the zebra stool! What a great room!

Today you guys have to head over to one of my favorite blogs, Lovely Scribbles. I was super excited and totally flattered when Nikki wondered if I'd be willing to meet her for a little interview for her blog (so cool that she lives nearby!) We had such an awesome time hanging out, had so much in common, boy did the time just FLY by! Read all about it here!

I love it! Not in love with the brown but I certainly see its purpose -- I'd amp up that orange I think! LOVE the headboard!

LOVE every single part of this room! What a lucky girl! Thanks so much for the shout out - let's get together again soon! Maybe drag those quiet guys along, too. ;)

MMmmm... I love the combination of peridot (the green on the headboard) with turquoise. My friend just gave me a pashmina of striped peridot and turquoise -- I keep it with me always. Very pretty room. I am looking forward to going to lovely scribbles!

lovely room, overall though I'm not lovin' those curtains. My pick (since you asked! LOL! - oh, you didn't? Oh. well...)

anyway...MY pick would've been a crisp white with a brown border for the curtains in a heavier fabric.

But that's just me. As I said, overall it's a lovely room! Love the peridot/blue/brown combo on the bed.

I will now add SW Belize to my list of great blue colors. What a sophisticated room for a teen age girl. How lucky she is.

Cool interview! I love that she posted your fave rooms...in fact, one of those bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens are my faves too! I keep referencing them as I try to turn my house into something worth looking at :)

I drool over that headboard! Such a funky shape and great pattern! I love that the bench is the same colorway but zebra-print! So chic.

If anyone knows what fabric that floral graphic with the orange is, I NEED IT!!! This room is delicious, but I'm with the others that the dark brown curtains aren't my fave.

I have to say that I actually love the turquoise/brown combination - it just works so well. It seems to come from nature - and the two colours together seem to enrich one another.
