Whitewashed Tiffany Bedroom

I love the blogworld! Yesterday Maria of Dreamy Whites had a guest post by Melanie of Pretties and Posies, where she shared these beautiful images from her stunning bedroom. She said, "My bedroom is all about comfort. I chose to paint my walls a soft blue to remind me of a summer sky, a day at the lake, or as my niece once said...a white-washed Tiffany box." The soft blue you see (and love...I know how you guys roll!) is Benjamin Moore's Palladian Blue. Isn't it perfectly dreamy with all the white?! I also love how she hung an old door above her bed. What a unique piece of art! Definitely head over to Dreamy Whites and Pretties and Posies, two beautiful blogs I know you'll love too!

oooh, that's very pretty! With the curtain blowing in the breeze; that pale blue; a seating area; and unique touches like the old door, I could look at this picture all day!

Love your blog and the inspiration! I've infused a little turquoise into my no-cost Redesigned dining room, using an antique chair dressed in turquoise fabric and contemporary art work, both by Designer Kenneth Brown.

You're right about that Palladian Blue -- love it! So soft and pretty. I could see that working well in all kinds of spaces. (Yes, am still thinking of painting my hallway some shade of blue...)

gorgeous except for that door which seems crazily out of place. it's so....shabby. and I don't mean shabby chic. weird.
