I loved the post Anne of The City Sage did on using "Super Neutrals". Definitely worth a read if you're a bit color-phobic! This room she included from the April issue of Canadian House and Home had me at hello. The beautiful home belongs to Montreal designer Daniel Brisset. Is that lantern not fantastic?! And I love how he decided to use a large table instead of a island. Reminds me of an elegant old farmhouse!

You know I love a lantern or two in the kitchen! Nice color way, and very inspiring as I am poised to repaint my kitchen!
xo xo
Too beautiful!! I love the lantern and the table as well, but what really makes me swoon are those windows! They seem so seamless next to the similar cabinets. I would love that much light coming into my kitchen!
This is gorgeous - and such light!
those chairs are fantastic too.
Love the whole look!
I think I just found my kitchen color inspiration!! And the last picture with the glass doors is just the picture I've been needing to figure out how we're going to coordinate a strange wall in our kitchen:) Thanks so much!!
Wow, stunning......this is going in my inspiration file!
Thank you for the link love and for the lovely endorsement! Much appreciated :)
And isn't that kitchen fab? I'm a huge advocate for painting the ceiling a color that you wouldn't want to use on all 4 walls. Such a subtle yet memorable effect!
Oh yes, the windows..... divine.
The table idea is great!
wow. i want a kitchen that big and bright! loving the large farm table and the tiered lazy susan as a centerpiece.
Hi Erin! love your blog...you might want to check out some cool turquoise in some pics I posted recently on my blog by designer Frank Roop...he uses really beautiful color combos...love this kitchen, especially the blue walls!! thanks for sharing!
I've been reading your blog for a while but can't remember if I've commented before. You have the most stunning photos here, and this post in particular makes me want to paint something blue.
Wow... love that kitchen! The paint is such a beautiful color and windows are great!
what a smart idea to use that cupcake stand (if that what it is) to hold plants!
Love the big farm table, and the potted centerpiece creates the perfect accent for this classic look.
