Urban Gypsy Design

Just how awesome is this bathroom belonging to San Francisco interior designer Blythe Friedmann of Urban Gypsy Design?? I love all the vintage touches! That neat old bathroom door with the "bath" sign on it is the cutest thing I've seen all day. And I'm really digging the row of mirrored cabinets. Blythe also designed the above restaurant called Weird Fish in San Francisco. Has anyone been there? It has such a cool vibe to it! To see more images of her home and her work, head over to Apartment Therapy! Have a fantastic weekend everyone! :)

What neat spaces! Love all the little touches in the bathroom - salt and pepper shakers as toothbrush holders?! Fabulous!

I always love when a designer masterfully combines old and new, and this is a perfect example. The turquoise rocks here! Very cool!!

I always marvel at what can be done in small SanFran and NYC spaces. It takes a real creative mind to get that much bang for your buck!
Have a great weekend, Erin, and thanks for the California dreamin' today.

We think the Brooklyn sign would be the envy of many! Wonder if it's vintage or faux?

Great rooms, love the vintage style! I went to the preview last night of the Southern Living Idea House in Senoia, Ga. You will be happy to know that part of the trim is painted a deep turquoise! The boy and the girl's room are both trimmed out in the deep turquoise and their bath is bright green and turquoise! The home has not been decorated yet, so we will have to wait and see what happens with the furnishings. Can't wait....The Designer Insider

What a gorgeous little restaurant! Love all the wood in there too. I do love turquoise in a bathroom, so refreshing and clean looking! Huge lightbulbs over the mirrors, I need some of those!

You will see lots of turquoise on my blog this morning. You have probably seen all of the images before but just wanted to let you know I gave your blog a mention,Kathysue
