These bedrooms designed by Madeline Stuart are so luxurious, so beautiful! I love the mix of antique and new furnishings, and all the different colors and textures. The final look is just so sumptuous! I'll tell you though, these images aren't helping with my ongoing dilemma: do I want a canopy bed or turquoise upholstered headboard???

I am facing the same decision, upholstered or canopy bed.....and as you have shown, both are beautiful. You have me rethinking a few things in finishing my bedroom. Which always helps!
I love that rug! I adore the upholstered headboards out there, but there is something so whimsical and lovely about a canopy bed! I think it's that little princess inside all of us that's drawn to them. :)

these are great, I'm always looking for something to put at the end of the bed.
Love the settee at the foot of the bed in the first photo. So grand, but not too heavy with the open wood arms. Very romantic.
I would go for the turquoise upholstered headboard. An upholstered headboard is so sumptuos...I love mine!

The rug is be-u-tiful! Whether or not you opt for a canopy bed depends on the size of your room, no? I vote for an upholstered headboard - turquoise of course.

Hi Erin, I have always wanted a canopy bed but this last weekend B and I bought a sleigh bed in a Cal King and I am determined to beachify it! Turquoise will definitely be involved!

I die for tufted headboards!! Mine is tufted, and I love that it is soft and plushy to lean back on and read a good book :)
