I love this image designer Tobi Fairley shared on her blog. The bedroom is actually from the same home Tobi designed that was featured on the cover of the House Beautiful blue issue. That headboard is fabulous! And the matching bedding and wallpaper? Normally that might be too much for me, but the color and print is so great I really dig the look. I especially love those white scalloped pillows with the aqua trim! So cute!Speaking of Tobi Fairley, I just finished listening to her chat with the women of The Skirted Roundtable. My that hour went by quickly! Tobi is such an inspirational businesswoman, designer, and blogger! Check out the podcast here!

Absolutely lovely!!!
So simple but so beautifully executed. That colour is so dreamy to me and of course to you. No wonder you love turquoise. Have the best weekend.
Love Tobi love this room.I actually looked at a wallpaper very similar for my master bedroom but wound up with a simple beach look instead. Love this room, I have to go and listen to SRT love them. Have a great weekend Erin, Kathysue
Hi,
I love your blog and check it everyday! I the the color turquoise.
I have a tech. blog question if you don't mind. How do you get the pictures on your blog so big?
I post mine on the biggest setting, but they still don't quite come up as big as I'd like. I'm asking you this because I love how big your pictures are! I hope you don't mind!
Rayia - It took me a while to figure it out! I actually use my own server (smugmug.com) to host the pictures, not the one that is associated with Blogger (Picasa). Then I "add an image from the web", instead of from my computer. It lets me show it as big as the original size.
The other constraint is the layout of the blog. The template I use doesn't let it get very big, so I went in to edit the HTML and changed my "main-wrapper" to 700. If that makes any sense at all!
Thanks!
Love the headboard!

probably my favorite room i have seen in a long time!
love it.
Wow! I LOVE that headboard! It really is the perfect contrast to break up the pattern on the wallpaper and bedding, which are both pretty fabulous, too.
I love this room. I love your blog even more. I always look forward to checking out your blog, and it is always truly one of the best ones I look at. Your pictures are wonderful and your posts always inspire me so. I thank you so for a lot of great posts and I will continue to look forward to your next post. Have a wonderful weekend ......
What a perfect combination of colour and pattern. Love it!!
Absolutely love your blog, it just keeps getting better and better. I've been an avid reader for quite a while now, and as an artist I always find so much inspiration here. Thanks for posting such beautiful images,

I just listened to the chat, as well. I love her no-nonsense approach to everything-- and the beautiful results!
This is truly a gorgeous room! And you are right, the matching walls and bedding is surprisingly not overwhelming. I think the large simple headboard helps to break it up a lot. Thanks for the great photo!!
This is absolutely one of my favorite colors too....I have it everywhere in my own home. I just can't believe you've devoted an entire to site to this....I just LOVE it! Your photos are lovely. I'll send you any that I see too.

Hi Erin,
I found your blog through Tobi's blog. I absolutely love Tobi's work. I am a native of Arkansas and have had the privilege of admiring her early work through our local design magazines. She is fabulous!
It's a lovely image, very tailored and feminine at the same time.
I never thought turquoise in a home/for a home but wow after looking through your site! So pretty!
I love all your images, your blog is adorable.

Thanks so much for sharing such a lovely room! Most of my clients are asking for this kind of color somewhere in their home but in a smaller quantity. I love how Tobi has really commited to it and splashed aqua all over the room. Simply brilliant! I forwarded your link on to my clients and friends in the hopes that they may want more aqua in their lives too!
Thanks again - Jacqueline
I keep waiting for a moment when I can sit down and listen to this uninterrupted. This image is gorgeous. I'm more anxious than ever to listen to that podcast! Marija
This is a wicked blog; turquoise decor deserves it's own page of recognition!
I've got a beautiful turquoise/teal headboard on my headboard blog that you would love. It's tufted and lovely. There's also an elegant duck egg blue (not quite turquoise I know!) Parisian-style one that is sublime: http://bit.ly/126cG8y.
Beautiful Stuff ;) Penny
