Luxurious Guestroom

When I saw the first picture above on The Glam Lamb, I thought I recognized that Cole & Son wallpaper from the post I did on gold and turquoise. Sure enough that desk area image was in the collection, and I remembered a bunch of you liked it. So here's the whole room that was featured in Homes & Garden! Personally I don't think I could have this as my bedroom, but it's supposed to be a guestroom....and I say it makes for a pretty lavish getaway!

Beautiful but yes, maybe more restful without the wallpaper?

The wallpaper is so pretty. You wouldn't think that the framed ferns would go with it, but it DOES!!!

Erin, I just read on someone's post this morning their love for turqouise and gold combo. I don't remember who it was but agreed that the combo is wonderful. This is another proof of that. very elegant and appealing. Kathysue

I like the room very much, maybe without the wall paper will look more relaxing... but it's also a very nice mixing of textures!

Love how the window is dressed- the shade to the ceiling and the laticework on it. The detail on the desk chair is wonderful... stopping the paint partially down the legs. I find your blog so inspirational; thanks!
