I immediately fell for this coastal guestroom when PK of Room Remix featured it along with a slew of other light and breezy bedrooms. (She found so many other amazing ones, so check them out here!) I'm just crazy about the pretty aqua wall in this bedroom...definitely my favorite feature! But all the texture is just so lovely. I want to curl up under one of those fluffy duvets right now!

Thanks so much for the mention, Erin! It IS a fabulous bedroom, isn't it? So many inspiring details to take away from it. Have a good day...
I had a bed just like that growing up, what a lovely room Erin!
DYING! I love this room :)
So soft and serene! I love it!
Diggin' that bench!
Mmmm - so beachy !
Happy New Year Erin, I hope 2010 is going to be fantastic for you!
PS There is a pool waiting for you on my blog today !
All the best
Vitania
That floor color is my favorite - it is so close to natural oak color. And the walls - what a beautiful treatment!
Perfect decor for a summer home! :)
Love the pillows with the muted pattern! perfection!
I agree this is a very soothing room, I love the texture of the wall behind the bed. I would rest very well in this room, Great photo, Kathysue
The paneled wall and ceiling are gorgeous! I'm a sucker for symmetry, so this is right up my alley ;)
Is the wall aqua...? It looks white to me! I think it's time to change my monitor! Either way, I sat in my chair and just stared at the picture with my mouth hanging open for about 5 seconds - no joke. Good thing the door was closed! I love this room!
The Euro pillows and that sweet little bench with nailhead detail...ahh...
This is a pretty room and I love that your interpretation of turquoise includes this beautiful, white-washed aqua wall. Very cool.
I have a special place in my heart for rooms with matching twin beds. I even did a whole post about them.
It's at http://www.thedesignfile.net/thedesignfile/2009/11/twin_beds_in_guest_rooms.html.
There's even one with a turquoise wall!
Me too. The aqua is so subtle on that wall, but it could never get past your trained eye!
It truly is a beautiful room! I love the color of the benches at the end of the bed!
happy new year erin! i just stopped by to tell you that i stumbled upon the beautiful art nouveau door you posted this summer in a google search on art nouveau, the one in rue du lac - but i see that you already got some information about it.
hope you're having a lovely 2010 so far!
Just found out that Pantone has chose Turquoise as color of the year for 2010! Love your blog! Love the inspiration, gonna grab your button;o)
The aqua is so subtle...so beautiful and restful. Ahhhhhhhh.
I only wish it were mine :(
Love this room!
What dreamy rooms! I completely agree with you...that headboard really is pretty wonderful! AND I loved the room you posted yesterday, too. It's another new favorite of mine!!
