Beautiful and Bold Bedroom

It's like this bedroom by Roberts Erickson Design was created just for me! That black and white upholstered headboard, the mix of prints, the gorgeous chandelier, pop of pink...and of course the perfect wall color...it doesn't get much better than this!

Perfection all the way! I love the pattern on the comforter, and I am dying to find a killer chandelier for my dining room AND bedroom (let me know if you have any ideas :) ). This black chandelier is awesome! You always know how to find the best stuff!!

Hi, Erin. I stumbled upon this website today while browsing beautiful turquoise bedding at the Chocolate & Blue website. How exciting to find someone who loves turquoise as much as I do (and possibly more!).
I've been perusing your photos and have yet to see one of turquoise walls with turquoise bedding. I'm juggling ideas in my head on how to do my bedroom within the next few months and I've wanted turquoise walls but also love turquoise bedding. Do you think all that turquoise will be too much? How can I compromise? The other colors I'm wanting to use are chocolate brown, some creams/tans, and splashes of red.

Any ideas on how to incorporate those colors together? Do you have any photos with those colors together?

Beautiful website! Looking at all the turquoise pings every pleasure center in my brain! Consider me another daily follower of yours.

You're right - that pop of pink goes so well with the black and turquoise theme! I was wondering, however, if turquoise walls were all right on the eyes? I'm so scared of having bold wall colors because of the influence colors have on moods and eyes. I tend to gravitate towards more mellow color tones...but I so want to try out this wall color! It's gorgeous!

Wow! I love the headboard! And the identical mirrors! The black and whites really pop against that beautiful blue/green wall. So inspiring! I wonder if my husband is up for repainting the bedroom...

Oh! This is just too good! I really want to paint my dining room a color like this with a beautiful chandelier. Do you have any suggestions on paint colors such as this?

Woah Momma that IS a bold bedroom...I don't know that I could swing that, but man, I admire any one who could pull that off successfully!

I usually go for a more subdued palette, but this is just so fun...guest room perhaps!? I did a post today of a client's master bath with aqua walls.

This room is a dream! I feel like it was created just for me, too. In fact, I'm dreaming of decorating a boudoir/dressing room for myself like this one day. Love it. Love it. Love it. I also adore your blog and have added you to my blogroll (mylittleboudoir.com). I hope you don't mind. Thanks...

I would sleep like a baby in this turquoise bedroom. I don't usually use that deep of a color on my bedroom wall, but it is tempting...

No one has hazarded a guess as to the identity of this paint color, and I adore it. Cybill, what did you use for your office?

We're in the midst of re-doing my daughter's room and came across your blog. She's requested turquoise walls and we've relented. "Reflecting Pool" by Sherwin Williams is what we've decided to go with. I've been so nervous to put it up, but now that I've seen your blog and all the great inspiration rooms, I'm feeling much better. This room is the color-scheme we're going for, with more of a tween feel to it. We will see. I'll be posting up on my blog when we finish it.

Where can I purchase this comforter?

I ran across this picture while looking for ideas for my bedroom. My comforter set is almost identical to this one. I painted the room with this Sea Isle from BM, and I have to tell you this picture does not do it justice. It is actually not as green as it looks. It makes me feel uplifted and happy when I am in it.

I loved it so much, that I painted my bathroom the same color. It is amazing what a little color can do for your life.

Cheers!
