Just Beachy
I anxiously await the holiday season all year, so pardon me while I post even more beautiful blue Christmas decor with you! (To see last Friday's round-up, go here.) I was lazy all week and didn't snap any photos of my own tree, but I promise I'll do that this weekend (that is when I'm not at the mall!) Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Coastal Christmas

I immediately fell for this kitchen that Cassandra of coco+kelley featured in her inspirational post all about Christmas by the beach. As much as I love our snowy, cold Minnesota winters, sometimes I think a nice holiday spent in a beach home would make for a memorable Christmas!

Blake Dollahite

If you haven't already seen this modern farmhouse in Austin belonging to and built by Blake Dollahite, you're in for a treat. I love the simplicity and attention to deal that is shown. I mean how cool is that fan?! According to a reader of desire to inspire:
With the help of his father and after 4 years of effort, the home was complete. Blake decided to build the furnishings himself, everything from cabinetry to the coffee table to the bed to the media cabinet. For the home, and its finishings and furnishings he used reclaimed/recycled products almost exclusively and to stunningly simple, warm, intelligent and inviting effect.
Check out Blake's website for many more stunning photographs! You don't want to miss the rest of the house and yard!

Walsh Design Group

What a sophisticated room designed by Minneapolis-based Walsh Design Group. The symmetry of all the details is just so pleasing to the eye! I am really loving the beautifully ornate matching headboards and crowns, sparkling chandeliers and pretty turquoise pillows. I wish I could see more of that floor covering too, because it looks equally as lovely!

Salon de Thé by Ames Ingham

Here's another one of my favorite rooms from the Veranda showhouse at the Greystone estate in California. The Salon de Thé by Ames Ingham is indeed a bright and cheerful little alcove, the perfect place to sit by the fire and enjoy a good book. I love Madison & Grow wallpaper, especially next to that awesome contemporary painting by Yana Datkhaeva!
