Beautiful Blue Painted Floors

I was so inspired by Chic Coles great post yesterday on white painted floors, I thought I'd do my own on turquoise and blue painted ones! Some of these images you might have seen on here before, some are new. Either way, they're all gorgeous in my book. The Windsor Smith kitchen may be my favorite..that picture just never gets old. Which room is your favorite??

Sarah Richardson

I was beyond delighted to spot an image of this dining room on BabyCheri Style, as I'd seen the room before in the portfolio of photographer Stacey Brandford (and wrote about it last year, but you know how it is when you see more of a room you love!!). The room was designed by Toronto based interior designer Sarah Richardson. (You must check out her site, it's a ton of fun to go through!) I like the description of the room off her portfolio: A study in neutral backdrops brought to life with bold injections of bright shades drawn from the surrounding ocean views. It's formal yet family friendly, elegant yet easygoing, and fashionable at every turn.

I also need to add a great big thank you to Christina over at Down And Out Chic for spotlighting House of Turquoise yesterday. It was such a pleasure to be interviewed for her fab blog! I'm super excited to have some new readers too!

Frank Roop

I've decided that I don't post nearly enough from Frank Roop on here. Oh how I love this man! He sure knows his ways with the blues and the greens, and I love the addition of the pinks to the mix. That first image has to be one of my most favorite bedrooms. Be still my heart! To see more posts I've done on Frank Roop, go here and here.

Cozy Cottage

I spotted this cozy home on Don't Forget to Fly and thought it was so cute. What a dainty little cottage...kinda reminds me of a dollhouse. So many fun details to look at. I think it would be much fun to have a bedroom up in a little loft like that. Practical? Maybe not!

Heart's Delight

I was blown away by beauty when Kristi of lovelyv√©lo directed me to her post featuring these gorgeous images filled with my current favorite color combination/obsession. The E.J. Sooley House is a 1930's coastal home at Heart’s Delight, Trinity Bay in Newfoundland. It was profiled last summer by Canadian Home and Country Magazine, but you can see more images of the property (including the ocean views!) at the their website. CapeRace Cultural Adventures is a 10-day touring program of Newfoundland that lets visitors explore the unique characteristics of the province by staying in homes owned by the Sooley family (this is one of three). I can't think of any better way to experience Newfoundland!
